Hi @Former-Member I said "Hi" on the night shift thread, because I think I'll feel less stressed if I try and only type on one thread at a time. 
But, in case you miss it, "hello". Did you get enough sleep last night? You mentioned that you had to go to work this morning. What sort of work do you do? Are you feeling ok today? 
I'm just going to go and do my night chores and will be on later.

Hi @Former-Member, just some community support work, driving clients to shopping & outings, light house tidy, cook meal. Usually only do 4hrs on call 1 or 2 week, relief, but stretched out today. Was easy though. Nice weather too. Ta for asking. I don't get email notifications, too overwhelming.

Definitely the wise owl - I love the owl - I just love owls
They say age is just a number - I am past my best-by date in some areas but still growing in others -
I might be the oldest person in the forum - way to go -
But here's the truth - I am aware of time passing quickly - but the people in my family tend to live a long time - many into their 90s - both my parents got that far
What should I call my owl? It needs a name

.. @DecadianI googled 'Ane' but after seeing it, Wolfram maybe yes mum's mother's 7 sisters all went to 90s, well the oldest was born before WWI .. father still going he's 92 ..won't be around then thanks

My Dad was the first of 4 brothers - he nearly made 91 - and I have two uncles in their late 80s - the youngest brother died of cancer when he was younger than I am now. Mum made it to the middle 90s and I have other female ancestors made it until older than that
So I do as much as I can to keep myself as fit as I can - when the weather is fine I take long walks and I keep my mind active doing lots of things - reading and puzzless - I am interested in the world

my father was one of eight births. well 3 of them didn't get to being toddlers, saw pic of headstones on what was their farm.well that was reality in 1920s, high infant mortality @Decadian
