Just for back from gate crashing a few threads on my NYE pub crawl, so exhausted, and pissed, think I need a coffee, oh no, hang on, nearly midnight, got stay stung so I can black out all the sloppy new years kisses I promised. Pass the Shiraz, mixing drinks tonight lol

Hi @Decadian, so understand your attitude to pain, best pretend its not there when we can.

I have a large sulphur crested cockatoo around here lately too, they love eating the little pine nuts on the conifer trees. Mine is quiet though. Must look up symbology of bird visitors for it (my sons into that at the moment). SC Cockatoo are a beautiful bird, strong. Have you seen their wing span. They can be noisy caged so don't wouldnt want one as a pet either. Besides, love it that they can fly.

I've also had pink Gallars lately, love how they tend to perch up high in pairs. So many birds here actually.

Interesting my son us now saying I should stay here, not move. Finally realised the country is a blessing.

we have had some rosellas too - but mostly noisy crested minors - I happen to like them actually - other people don't but

There's a lot of ants in my kitchen today too, most unusual. Must be gonna rain a lot soon. Hope no floods. Brings back bad memories, my girl died the month of Jan2011 floods 😞

That's one of my New Year Resolutions, to actually finish reading at least one book a month. Not being a reader that will be a challenge for me. I have so many books I haven't finished. Mostly self help of cause. Must find a good fiction writer - can you recommend someone?

Forecast is for rain for a few days so catching up on bled linen washing today, big stuff, couple blankets too. Need to patch up a window leak somehow too.
