Re: Sleeping too much
Processing is good @Former-Member. I think you may have read my post on my struggle thread last night. It was a similar scenario in parts, just me being there will stir up trauma from the past for me and others. It is socialising but at what cost, the fallout can be big sometimes. I think we just have to do a cost benefit analysis. Do we get more out of going and spending time socialising with some people or does it undo us too much? Just my thoughts
I have just had my mindfulness class but home now feeling like a piece of crap, just holding on today me thinks.
I hope your day gets better, I think we both need some even no emotion flipping time. 💜🤗

Re: Sleeping too much
Silly me, so much for acceptance commitment therapy lol, just spent $1k onthe car (tyres) only to be to my shockies, struts, suspension, engine oil leak... ... ... all need work (some time soon), maybe up to another $2k People. Sitting in a coffee shop feeling sorry for myself and couldn't hold the tears in because I just can't pay for that. Welfare is not enough to buy maintain a car. lol oh well, at least the tyres are not likely to 'explode' now lol, and can travel to visit sick parents & brows if I'm up to it )not likely). Just Just eyeing off the bank...
Well, off to get wired for sleep studies.
Solo tired.

Oi! @Former-Member
The cost of running a car is horrific - I don't drive now and I miss it
It's the state of my spine that keeps me off the road - I would be an unsafe driver
Still even with a taxi card it costs a lot to go where I have to - not counting where I want to - so - imo opinion sitting and having a coffee and feeling bad about spending so much money and needing to spend more would be a major worry and I don't think you are feeling sorry for yourself in the slightest
Not having a car means I don't have the expense of running one and caring for it and then there were times when I needed a new one and couldn't get one - oh - the joy of it
Even at the rising cost of petrol just being able to get in your car and go where you want when you want - fantastic
I am sorry you have so much expenditure right now - I am on welfare and know it's a tough bargain
So sorry about those expenses - it must seem like you can never get ahead
Sorry for rattling - not having a car is a constant b*tch of mine

Re: Sleeping too much
You know, the stigma to not having money is similar to MI etc so I'm learning to NOT tell people 'I can't effort it' or "I'm on welfare" (as if) or even - I'm unemployed. I'd rather people think I work - they're not gonna help anyway if you express 'brokenness' in fact, like MI in the workplace people use it against ya. Another reason to keep you arms length - or preferably the other side of town - with the 'have nots'
That reminds me of something funny yesterday. At the tyre place I parked behind an expensive BMW, when I handed the key in they said "you mean the BM Trouble you"
Oh yeah, something else funny there, he commented the car looked aged, but I quickly said "I haven't washed" he looked strange at me "i the car, I haven't washed the car" lol
Never mind, just my warped humour haha
Must be the comedy I watched this week "Monster In Law" (mother in law vs bride to be thing), hysterical.
Have a good day guys

'little me' stuff and talking to yourself is normal ..everyone does it at some level @Former-Member well at least you have the tyres and had a laugh ..I made my own word ..'brokedness' .. lol sounds better ..remember my sister smiling years ago on me telling her my thoughts while walking re reading signs on passing vans ..I was feeling downon the world but out in public so not hiding, would pick words from signs/slogans, and turn them around to 'I'll **** you..and is me saying it back to the people with the signs.. ha was funny cant believe told sister that and that she laughed ..well that was years ago ..
