Maybe not so much understanding your son better than you @Former-Member ..., but you are clouded by so much pain at the moment and working so hard with that .... he is choosing to block his instead ... that's what my S2 would do, but S1 is different ....
Can you go put the kettle on ? I'll have a cup of tea with you now if you're up for it .... the warm mug in your hands will help to ground you @Former-Member ... would love to be there with you right now ... you are anything but horrible .... a beautiful person caught in a horrible situation, and you have done so much to work your way through it. You're an inspiration @Former-Member .... even though that's the last thing you feel you are right now ...
Take deep breaths to calm yourself s bit ... everything is going to p you off in this space cos you're looking for the doorway out of the pain box .... breathe .... didtract ... go make that tea while I make mine ... walking with you ...

@Former-Member, others disrespect me by talking around me on a thread at a time of need and tonight you siding with them, which totally sucks, and THIS is not helping, please ask them to stop disrespecting me this way (like many times before) people can engage with those others anywhere on the forums not start up in the middle of my pain trying to find help. Delete their posts too if you're not taking sides. I'm here on my own trying to connect with REASONABLE unbias people and find balance so I don't SH, is there another moderator on duty. Where is everyone else. Crapola scared them off no doubt, thanks very much

Hi @Former-Member. I'm so sorry you are feeling so unsupported, devalued and downright like hell. I know this doesn't help but my gut says your boy can't deal with the anniversary in the same way you do which is really sad. I think he will need to process this in his way and it doesn't mean he doesn't care but that he deals with this differently to you. I would imagine if one of my boys lost their brother all three would deal with it so very differently. One I'd imagine would drink it away, one wouldn't want to know or be reminded and would probably shut out anniversary days one might set up some kind of tradition for it, one might want to just check I'm ok but not deal with it himself. It wouldn't mean that any of them care less or more about their brother or me. It would be just their way of coping with grief and loss and anniversaries. I know this doesn't help you but I wanted to let you know that it doesn't mean your son doesn't care, he just processes it differently to you.
As for tomorrow I can't be there with you but I can make sure I'm around to help you grieve, celebrate her life or whatever emotions arise for much of the day. I have my phams support worker for a couple of hours in the afternoon. You don't have to be alone. I haven't been through this to know what helps you but I can be here to listen and you can teach me what it is like for you. You have a cyber family to help you pull through. We can tag them to be here for you. I know @Faith-and-Hope will be here for what she can.

Hey @Former-Member was trying to set up a new internet connection, at shops etc, actually got it to work ..phew..
Good on you .. you are the one with the car keys and dog and know where the caravan park is.. just pack dog and whatever else you need ..and go .. you will be glad you did ..I can't drive the car for you, so to speak, helped you out with tyre queries the othe night when asked .. boring ..but it's up to you in the end..
