Re: Sleeping too much

It sure does @TAB! I had a plague of mice some years ago. Dog is a good mouser but the fridge and the esky were the only places I could keep food 😆

So ..... @Kurra ...... you'll be heading off to bed shortly, right ?

And @TAB ..... did you sleep at all ? Keeping the mice company, were you ?

Chatting on the forums helps me to gauge how much sleep I'm getting ...... 😏 .... 6 hrs = not bad ....

@Former-Member ..... no use looking up facilities here ..... in WA you have to have a diagnosis before anyone will talk to you .... have actually had to communicate with support services in other states, but even then, we can't do anything until there is unrefutable medical evidence that there is a problem, or if WH realises he's in trouble with his health and is prepared to listen or ask for help.

I celebrate healthy weight loss .... there are obviously a lot of people with health issues stemming from being very overweight, which was where WH was coming from ..... but the opposite extreme causes health issues too .... it's about finding peace with your body really, and nurturing it in the right ways. If the focus comes off weight loss itself and goes onto healthy, balanced living that is comfortable to maintain, unless there is another underlying health concern that disrupts the status quo, your body will naturally respond and find a healthy weight range for itself.

Sounds like you're achieving great things @Former-Member, and you have the support of specialists. Well done ❣

This isn't me but the hair - THE HAIR - YES!!!!!!

When I was a child it drove my mother crackers and it hurt me to have it combed - I had to have it thinned out at the hairdresser - hence a story

My mother took me there when I was about 3 - and a woman got out from under a dryer and she had a head full of electronic gadgetry (butterfly clips) - looking like something out of Star Trek - and I had hysterics right there and then and wouldn't go into the hairdressers and sat on the step hanging onto it with my fingernails screaming.

So the next few weeks passed in peace and one day Dad said - "I'm going to the barber - why not come with me?" and I trusted Dad with this and went with him and for as long as I can remember I had my hair cut at the barbers and life was more or less peaceful

However - on the pension and no other income I had to let my hair grow and had this fantastic silver ponytail - loved it - but tore my shoulder tendons so I had to have my hair cut - and nearly cried when I saw my hard to manage ponytail on the floor of the hairdresser

But my hair is fine and aggressive, has a mind of it's own, a double crown and a cowlick at the back and is spiky and tangles

Okay - let's hear about the hair - I think there are very few people in the world actually like their hair. I would love to have curls but everyone with curls complains too

Let's have some crazy hair photos - there is a website full of them
