Re: Sleeping too much
Hi @Former-Member
I am glad you are out now and are ok. I wish I could go into a short stay hospital or even where i went earlier this year. I just need a break again but no one is listening.
I am not that great at the moment, triggering stuff today and am not coping. I tried to ring my psych today but they must have been closed and tomorrow is a public holiday so i can't call him until wednesday and then it's hard to get hold of him because I work.
a few things happening lately, i am starting to feel that i will not get better.
feeling very emotinal tonight, think i will get off here now and go to bed. it's been a terrible day

Re: Sleeping too much
@Former-Member, I missed that you went to hospital a few days. So sorry. Hope it helped. How does hospital help with SI? Guess it takes away access to means and maybe gives company & routine. A little break. I've been a bit self centred trying to get my self-care up a notch. Living alone don't help.

@BlueBay ..... hang in there .....
If you ask some of the people here who are doing really well, you will probably find they have come through a time when they thought it wouldn't ever happen .... and it has .....
You are learning things you are not even aware that you are learning ... I can see a difference in you since I joined earlier this year ..... you just have to keep on persevering ..... and you will start to find your bad days turning into not-quite-so-bad days, and from there not-nearly-so-bad-days .... and the good days will be increasing in number too ....
Hugs n hugs Hon .... not sleeping well doesn't help .... I hope you sleep well tonight ....

Re: Sleeping too much
Hi @Former-Member. Yes it's amazing when you know you can't and someone is watching over you that you relax but also in hospital they give me medication to knock me out and take away the anxiety and intensity. For the first 24 hours I couldn't think about anything because I was so out of it which helps amazingly well but I'm only allowed it in hospital. Then it's time to seek help and rest without added stresses from my baby dragons to pile it on. And it's a chance for my baby dragons to breathe without worrying about me so it helps all round.
I love that you are stepping up the self care. I always smile when I read your posts that you've had a productive day of achieving. You are taking me with you too😊💜🤗

Re: Sleeping too much
Hi again @Faith-and-Hope
They are lovely dogs @Faith-and-Hope How old is he and whats his name? Does he have a high prey drive? My staffy does and I give her a game with the hose and just put the water in front of her paws and she chases it- she absolutely loves it.
My specialist I see her speciality amongst a few things is ED- is he's eating disorder also related to excess exercise and he is probably has a bit of OCD too. Is their any specific treatment for his eye can lead to loss of eye sight? I don't know much about ED but does he recognize their is a problem and what he is doing to his body long term. I have been hospital with people with eating disorders and I also put myself on the wellness table when I was in hospital.
Tomorrow I have my EP session and I am not happy with how he wants me to lift etc because it really drop my blood pressure. I would rather do lighter weights and more reps to build leaner muscle and slowly build up my weight (strength training).
I've had a few stress tests and I think I have only had them combined once before- I am just being a bit proactive in terms of my health, I do have a strong family history of heart disease- my Dad had his first heart attack in his 30's and quadruple bypass in his 40's. The dr get quite a shock because he said he looked too well to have any problem- this was when I was 13 years old - my dad had bypass surgery. I am just a bit concerned in the drop of my blood pressure which could indicate heart disease but it could be he is pushing too hard. The next step could be antiogram if I am not completely happy with the stress stress or MRI CAT scan?
I have rasing fitness levels so I can surf again, I think I am pretty close. I'm not obess by the exercise mine is more to keep my anxiety in check and hopefully prevent any health problems relating to me going through premature menopause. The PM is getting me down a bit but just try to push through.

Re: Sleeping too much
I know it will work out one way or the other...some men take a big knock to really change, or realize what they may loose.
Most definitely you wouldn't wish I'll, you just want the man you met back...❤
