Thanks -faith-and-hope, & @Former-Member, Wasn't up to it, couldn't drive home today, will do it tomorrow. Driving home to an empty house with my girl missing is still very hard, its just not home anymore. But each year i cope that little bit better. Just love the rolling hills west of brisbane, will look fwd to that, and everything's so greeeeeeeeeeen 🌱🌲🌳🌴🌵🍀🍃🌿� atm

Best to take it easy @Former-Member. You have plenty of time. You can smile on the way home about your achievements 💜😊. When you get home try to just focus on your fur baby and his excitement when he sees you again. 💜😊

So ....... can you have a de-brief about today with your friend tonight ? Revisit how good it was and how happy your son was in his achievement and family support group ? So glad to hear your in-laws to be are lovely .... you are getting a little family-extension happening there.

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope, Made me cry, a little gift to take home 4 😇 is a good idea, might stop at a country craft shop Not sure if its the opiate analgesia for back but i feel calm. All is well.

No, my friend is an introvert, wonderful hostess & friend but says little & often trivializes things i say, or prides different more superior perspective, which sometimes hurts but i don't have enough 'friends' to be picky. Besides, I just want to be quiet tonight. Its ok. Glad she's letting me stay another night but she heads out to work 7am. Might treat myself to a maccas breakfast at cleveland point lighthouse, listen to the waves 🙂

I went to boarding school at 12yo .... didn't quite fit in, but learned to socialise enough to make my way through the day. Was a high achiever, so could direct myself into my studies, but tended to my own company a lot of the time. I know it's different when it's more of a choice, but there have been a lot of times,including within this marriage, when I have functioned as a bit of a loner ....
I would be doing the Maccas breakfast and lighthouse stop on my way home if I were in your position right now .... 😊
So I hope you can enjoy the beauty of the waves, and enjoy the unhurried drive .... smell the roses along the way ....

Enjoy the drive home at your own leisure. It is ok to feel good about you and the achievement of bringing up a great young man.
