I may have slightly different view, but to me a friend is one who treats another with kindness no matter what we may or may not see.
I think she sounds mean, & regimented in her beliefs.
You have a common thread of faith, but I'm not sure this allows her the right to come into your home & play judge & jury.
I know there is faith, but I believe the church, human kind is constantly evolving.
I've not a lot of time, but just my thoughts.
You welcome to toss 😉...
I think when people we love pass, they stay in spirit.
Hold this feeling. In small moments I believe hour daughter will walk side by side with you.
Maybe she will be the one to hold your hand until you feel a little stronger.
She would not like you to suffer. 💛

I don't see myself as a Christian, but I do have 'rights' and 'wrongs' .God as you see it is in all of us ..or not.. as you see it ..and yes, I struggle with organised religion due to childhood experiences, ie being made to be a part of it. Was a pretty tame(beige?) version of it tho ..mother was a Deaconess before she got married and and an Elder for decades in later life, so have heard in passing her thoughts on more extreme versions of religion than hers over the years. It shouldn't be about guilt, judgement and making people feel bad. All god's children ..

Hard for @Former-Member tho ..... in her rural area company is thin on the ground .... so it can be a toss-up between loneliness or difficult visitors ..... I'm guess you've been there a bit too ..... as have I ....
Grew up in mining towns ..... some of 'em pri-tee small ......

..yeah @Former-Member, it doesn't make it right though, but yes, agree. Am getting texts at the moment from some lonely(with reason) person here, telling me what to do, then pointing out my failings.. think yest may have done it for good. it's just bile, and our contacts weren't anything special anyway, and definitely not worth the sort of crap that came to me yest. Blocked them.

@TAB, relationships are lifes greatest challenge, I'm kinda over it. How are you?
Today went well on the outside my had trouble walking around which annoyed my friend. Abd it was hot. My sun spent about an hour with us. Wonderful to see him. My patient did well - was hooked up to drips bloods etc for 6hrs. Got her home 7pm - they were grateful. I had another 40km to get home and in pain. Took strong pain meds did heat pack, gone to bed. Too bushed fo say more. Just saying hi.

Hi @Former-Member yeah in holding pattern yet again, no pain meds no drinkies since Sun lol, trying to heal a bit. That was big of you to do the trip. Mum gets vouchers/and or there's a driver and car subsidised by govt to go hospital in the city? Hope you're ok.
