Re: Sleeping too much

Tu parle le français @Former-Member. I'm having one of those sleepless nights. I've been in and out of bed like a jack in the box. My leg and back are giving me gip. 🎶

Re: Sleeping too much

@Former-Member @Redant. Mine is environmental, behaviourable, but mostly bad habits I have gotten into.
You can think of it as a wave or a roller coaster. Sometimes up. Sometimes down

Re: Sleeping too much

I think it's probably just the upcoming change in job. I'm happy that I'm moving on but a new job is always a bit nerve wracking @utopia.

I've also had my leg flare up and my lumber spine is being a pain, literally anď figuratively.
I'm a tough old bird. I'll survive.

Re: Sleeping too much

Hi @Appleblossom

You really did get a strange hand of cards with your kids - and most unfair in so many ways

Your first dd got the double mummies and double grandparents and played her hand - and for whatever reason - and I forget so many of people's stories here - but your biological daughter got pushed out of the picture - not good at all

I often wonder about my bio dd's resentments - her adopted bro got so much attention - he needed it after all - but still - she was the "easy child" and although I spent as much time with her as I could - took her for outings alone - gave her those little special treats etc - she will not talk about the past which is her choice - I just go along with it -

But I figure I would have resented a "naughty" child getting the attention - it did happen to me actually - the irritating younger children seemed to get the goodies while as first-born I got into trouble because of them - that would be a common story - and for me the resentments wore off with maturity -

I have this story - I took son out to replace all this clothes with the change of seasons - he'd had a growth spurt - and nothing fitted overnight - and as I checked out big bags of clothes I bought 2 small batteries for one of dd's toys - and did not think of this at all until we got home - and son threw an almighty tantrum about the batteries when I gave them to dd

To this day I wonder about that - and no - he didn't need any batteries right then -

Who can explain our children @Appleblossom - would it not be wonderful if life was fair, even sailing, reasonable

"We don't know why life is the way it is - but it happens"

And yes - it can often be soooooooooo unfair
