Re: Sleeping too much

Mindfulness Exercises might help @TAB, but I understand. Intense emotions shut down the brain. Have to be proactive.

@Faith-and-Hope, thanks for your encouragement. Your girls keep you on the hop, don't worry, one day they'll all be busy with their own homes & you'll get breathing space. Not too far away now. Reminding you of your mum is like the biggest compliment ever, thank you.

I got the shakes so just stopping for lunch. Had a couple of heavy pain tabs (BEFORE it becomes excruciating like last night) but think they've gone straight to my head, wo!

Proud of myself today as got the lino down & the washing machine in place before the plumber arrives to fix its piping. The floor looks so much nicer with covering. I even walked to the shop '/c dog to get adhesive, wow - must be your encouragement here (and somewhere to brag a bit maybe lol), thank guys. Despite the pain it causes, I'm excited about the renos because its taken me 14years to get round to, and I'm surprising myself that I still can after so long depressed & unable. It will Be nice to have one room finished properly, that's the plan (one at a time). Finding heaps for the garage sale too 🙂

Re: Sleeping too much

yes @Former-Member will google it. my things in past were swims(haven't done forever) walks(doing a few) breathing exercises(very basic atm) have given ssris up yrs ago, drs usually gp clinics in bad areas(had some tourist visa gp actually yell at me 'I will not give u anything with a street value.. wtf..gp in adel used to give me 50 at a time) so wont give things that may have helped re anxiety which have helped me to 're set' in past ..anyhoo, will get there, largely without medical 'help' and so glad you are getting 'stuff' done ..doesn't all have to be done today tho re 14 years, do what you can ..

Re: Sleeping too much

Oh boy I'm on catch up class now!
@Decadian, miraculous how a foot heals nicely in a day, including beach & ice-cream!
Yes, I love my boy's, I put them all first then me..somewhere.
As I stepped out into shopping centre today I thought omg, I look as scruffy as the kids, or maybe it was frazzled more so.
I wondered where women get time to look immaculate, perfect hair etc.
Don't get me wrong I'm presentable, but hmm lol 😂
By the end of day I'm not too worried. A group of workmen helped chase my 1 yr old back in ice cream shop for me. I guess it's noticeable I'm slightly busy!!!
Oh yes, braces are on me. My mum wanted me to when I was 14 but I said No. So here I am now correcting teeth!😁
I'm glad I'm doing it, I agree it's a confidence booster being able to smile without feeling self conscious. So in one respect its looking after me.
@Faith-and-Hope, absolutely. I've had to learn the hard way people's agendas always come before caring for me. I've been caught out many a time. So these days I do really try and to ground my own self so I'm not over doing.❤
@TAB Yeh phew good to be done. You will be fine. From what I read you have come some way to care for your body better. I think you are stronger than you give yourself credit for. 😊
I'm glad it's over for you. Anxiety is the worst.
@Former-Member, wow what a list. Yes I will have to practice more. Ohh I really try sometimes, fall behind then have to get back up again particularly eating properly etc.
It's easy to fall into the coffee trap cycle.
I have a headache starting again, and a chest thing lurking..time to action.
I had a terrible chest infection last pregnancy which wouldn't go. It was only after I had to go back throughb emergency 4 weeks after birth for hemmorhage that the anti biotics they gave me, wiped it too.
I've been meaning to buy Epsom salts. Magnesium is a good one for sure.
Right well I best be off to get this lasagna put together for dinner. It's half way there. With a cup of tea I think!
Everyone's invited! 😘👍🙌

Re: Sleeping too much

That's so fabulous @Former-Member about getting your room finished😊👏👍. I'm very envious. I have to pull the wall paper off my room and fix a few things but I haven't managed to even unpack half my boxes yet. But you inspire me and the weather is a bit too. I have all my summer stuff still in boxes and could do with a tshirt now it's been warmer. I really hope your back eases up a bit. Take care and you go girl👏💜😊🎉
