Doh @Former-Member... I havent started on toilet rolls yet .. or ever had a tanty about it.. I just do the dirty deeds well ... rock reference intended ... oh dear ( Ideas of reference???) ... or suggest kids take up the job of cutting up newspaper for the job ... as that is what I grew up with ... hmmmm.
Its not really a whinge @Faith-and-Hope ... its just not viable for the next generation or the planet .. for kids, not to grow up and be viable ... anyway thats my belief ...
I am pretty patient, diligent and very slow to anger ... hmmmm ... so its an issue ... when it emerges ... not a whinge at all ... more like ... reality checks for others ... cos I have a neck ache and I do not like to get angry.... or have scenes for other people's benefit ... who happen to be slow learners.

Lol@ Tab..oh that made me laugh too. Yes, it's tiny steps all the way...brings to mind Brian Brown in 'The Shiralee', ..'' it's like a god Damm tea party the whole way'..I love that scene.

I'll have to have a look @Former-Member re movie .. I ended up tricking her out of bedroom by jumping in pool with siblings.. and guess what? her window overlooked the pool
so her 'green eyes' won, she had to come out and play ..and act her age

@Former-Member, I love that movie 'the shiralee' great Australian classic. 'Storm Boy' & 'All the Rivers Run' are a couple more I like..
@Appleblossom, be careful not to vent the anger around the wrong people. I had to get out of the house when thongs got on top of me, so I wouldn't yell at the kids
I watched fireworks from my front veranda an hour ago, the opening ceremony to the annual sprints here. I live too close to appreciate it re noise & burned rubber, good thing is theres rain forcast all w'end and it just started, hehee, my bad?
Oh, good news, my son rang back, we, had a good chat which gave me a lift, and there was no noise for a change. Better!

@Former-Member, yes I loved Storm Boy too. My eldest loves it too. I'll check out All the rivers run...it's strikes a bell, hmm maybe I've seen. 😊
Hope your cold, aches etc is picking up...so true when we feel yuck, everything becomes yuck!
If u can find chemist try the kids Brauer range (homeopathic)..not bad!! Or health store..I find belladonna good for my over doing nature that ends in achey exhaustion sometimes.
Wish I could be more rested like others can.
