Oh yes @Smc Now you mention that I did hear of it and wonder about the connection. Serenity being the name of their ship if I'm not mistaken. I'll have to find it and watch it. That would be interesting if they did use it in that way and would be interesting to see the storyline they'd take with it.

@Faith-and-Hopehello to you, you always seem so busy around the place, I worry that sometimes all that support you give doesn't drain you somehow, just make sure you offset it somehow, especially being in your carer role. I'm sur you have a fairly good balance, but please just be careful. 🎨 ⚖

I recharge my batteries through my church, and I was there tonight. Yes, I am mindful re burnout and only do what I can .... I have a lot of pent up energy owing to a situation that is full on, but unresolvable in the here and now, so it helps to spend it somewhere .... and while I am not free to pursue supporting others with it as much as I might like irl ... the forums bring the opportunity to me.

I received a lot of support last year when my world was crazier than it is at the moment, but that can change at any time, and I might be the next one looking for a shoulder to cry on over hot chocolate in the middle of the night ....

I did think your role in here might be a little that way in regards to your real life situation, so in that way it's therapeutic in nature, which is also what I suspected it might be.

Actually today I am feeling a little better thankyou. Yes, more grounded .... back to reality you might say. I hope thats the case anyway. I even got a few hours sleep last night, so that should help.

I agree with you about the workload of @Faith-and-Hope, Faith you seem to be everywhere. You are amazing. Where ever I decide to turn up, you're there. Its very reassuring. I dont know how you manage that, with everything you have to contend with in your own life. It certainly no small thing being a carer. I know, because I'm one too. Although I know I have an easier time of that than many. I'm glad you have your spiritual faith, I realise it is a vital support to many.

@Former-Member hey girl! Nice to see you. Yes Mitch's injury is a major blow to the bowling attack no doubt about that. I'd say cummins would be front runner, but there are a few others they could choose from so we will just have to wait for confirmation, they have to choose soon if they haven't already.

Glad to hear you are more grounded today.. you stay away from anything that could reverse that. You don't need that yo yo effect. Don't go thinking you are stronger than you are and take on too much, internally or externally. You know how annoyingly easily that damn fog can roll in, no use going out to find it.

Did you watch any AFLW? The Bulldogs/Brizzy? I see the Brizzy girls are continuing their unbeaten trek to the GF. Not bad for the "experts" saying the first win was an "upset". What do they know hey? Good to see the Lions girls proving them wrong.

Yes I have been feeling a little better today thanks. I just visited Zoe's thread though, because I felt up to it. Admittedly it has knocked me around a little because of the similarities to my own experience, but I'll be okay. Doing some deep breathing and distraction things right now. An AFL game is on now between Adelaide and Brisbane, so I have started to watch that. But I did watch some of the AFLW match earlier between Bulldogs and Brisbane. Yes the Brisbane girls have been very impressive.

Yes sport is a good discussion topic over a nice hot chocolate, you're right.

Yep @Former-Member am watching the Lions/Crows too. Very interested in watching the girls afterwards because it's interesting for 2nd on the ladder. Carlton did themselves no favours losing to Freo last night, if you caught that or at least the result.

Think I shall get myself something else other than a hot chocky.. bit hot here... not sure what... any suggestions? One of those thingos F&H was serving up the other day would be nice.. although I think I'd have to have a slightly smaller one.. or one of those cones someone was giving out... those looked really yum actually.
