@Jo-anneJoy I used to have a cigarillo sometimes - never could enjoy a proper cigar. Or use aniseed flavoured papers. The funny thing is I have a peppermint with every cig, but hate menthol tobacco - work that one out! These days I'm making a packet of rollies last at least 18 days and working on stretching it further. I use a vape the rest of the time which greatly reduces my cravings between cigs.

What is everyone getting up to today? @TAB @Former-Member @Shaz51 and anyone else passing through.

Human interaction @TAB too rare for me atm. And great to have a laugh - I've been so serious lately. SW just came back with some things for me.

24 days after BP son came home from hospital with a be careful advice from medical team for 28 days with major changes to meds. His moods at times a real issue and the mental health team are looking at the possibility's But when he is feeling apologetic it's a a big swing of the pendulum. My birthday and he supplied a cake I'm sure will sit well on your coffee table. Just a bit too much sugar for me but was a good moment for us cheers

Not been up to too much today @eth .

I did a load of washing this morning and just brought it in, got it folded and put away. No ironing thankfully. Am about to start dinner preps. Lamb chops and veges tonight. Planning dinner for tomorrow too, decided to get some frozen chicken thigh cutlets out of the freezer to defrost. Will do a crock pot meal tomorrow, a chicken curry. That'll do nicely I think. So thats meal planning done for the weekend. No shopping needed.

And I actually just placed the final few drills into a diamond painting I've been working on for a couple of months. Its to be a birthday present for my husband, it being his72nd birthday on Monday. The painting is a field of poppies and cornflowers. Fitting I thought given the fact that ANZAC day is only 2 days before, and is such an important thing for him. He got all teary when we sat through this mornings ANZAC services. I hope he likes it. I am yet to press and seal it with sealant, but maybe finish that tomorrow. It wont matter if it isnt completed by Monday, I can do it after I give it to him. I also bought the latest Wilbur Smith hardcover book for him. He collects them, and we have every WS book ever published.

@Former-Member I admire people who can cook. I've tried my little heart out but I don't have the gift, somehow.

Your painting for your husband sounds good. Did you keep it secret from him while you were painting it?

I just lost an hour of my day with a call to my internet/phone provider to organise disconnection of my services that took 45 minutes longer than it needed. Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
