Ha ha .. no @Shaz51 ... stray cat Quinn hides in the garden watching, but doesnt come walking with me. He likes the security of his special hidey hole.

@Former-Member sounds like a productive morning there. BTW if you are going to harvest your lillypillies (we do and make a delicious jam) you need to wait some time after using white oil - it's no good for consumption. Might I suggest you use a soapy spray or a chilli/garlic spray if you want to eat the fruit.

Going for a walk with sil's mum now. Bro and sil are up at the farm and it's nice to have her here for company.

Yes 3 acres is good @TAB ... after growing up and living on a farm most of my life, when we moved we couldnt go straight into a town block. So we are about 8kms out of a small village on a rural housing estate, which used to be a dairy farm before being subdivided into rural/residential blocks. Its only a small estate, but all blocks are between 2 and 15 acres ... so plenty of space in between houses. Which is nice.

Thanks @eth re the lillypilly fruit. I'm not planning on using the fruit this year, the mould seems to have prevented much fruit this year. I have made jam in the past, but wont be this year. Not enough to bother with. Just hoping to save the bushes this year I think.
