I've been listening to the reverie and having my silent time of reflection, watching the dawn service that was held in Darwin as well as some of the neighbourhood renditions. My mum shared in detail at 5.30 this morning the history of soldiers and the effects of war in her family. Very poignant to read.

Hoping you will all find your way around the forums without too much trouble. This thread is largely social, created as a place to just hang out on a Saturday, but it's ok to also share whatever's going on for you or just some music/food/memes - pretty much anything goes (within guidelines). You will find support and people with common ground to you before long. Using the search bar for whatever topic you are looking for is a good way to get started. Or starting your own thread. If you want to reach or respond to a particular person - type an @ and then their name with no spaces and you'll see a drop down box where you can click on the name you want. If it's a short name you may have to type it slowly. A reminder - real names are not allowed on the forums - it's important that we stay anonymous.

Hi @Shaz51 hope you get to squeeze in some quiet time too.

Just finished a cuppa here as well @Shaz51 .. a pot of tea for me of course,out on the deck. What a lovely day it is today! We have been getting some brilliant autumn weather lately.

I have already done a load of washing and its out on the line drying. I have also just finished using some white oil on several lillypilly shrubs ... lots of black sooty mould stuff on them. Hope the white oil fixes them before they take too much of a hit. Dont know why they are getting this now? And I've taken little Holly along for a walk around our 3 acre block picking up fallen sticks in preparation for mowing to take place. Mowing is definitely a weekly event right now, with so much growth happening.
