@NatureLover only a few days ago, finally got, a housing agency to commit to subsidising crisis accommodation for me at a motel that has a kitchenette and will do for the interim. Basic down-to-earth rooms have air-con and 32-inch flat screen TV - two things that I've never had - it's going to be a palace compared to what I'm leaving behind. Soooooooo leaving behind. Kicked to the kerb.

Hi @Jo-anneJoy , coming in late to say I'm happy you have somewhere to live for the moment. Does this mean you have to put most of your stuff in storage? How long can you stay in the motel? Hope they have Netflix for you!

Hi @Valentine good to hear the murk has lifted somewhat. During the week you can mostly find me on the A long rave thread. I tend to reply quicker there, but tag me so I get a notification please. It's ok to share most anything there too. Kinda social but also for long raves about anything (within guidelines of course). Hope your day is a good one. You too @Jo-anneJoy and @NatureLover

Hey there @NatureLover the plan was always to get my gear into storage. My initial idea was to rent a van/cabin in a caravan park but they are way more expensive than the motel (except for the ones out in the boonies). For now, got two weeks definite in the motel with option to keep extend for another fortnight - I might motel-hop my way around - now that I'm not burdened with a fixed address. Get back to my nomadic roots.

@NatureLover you know the analogy of the swan gliding serenely across the lake but paddling like the clappers underneath? That's me.

@Jo-anneJoy paddling like the clappers underneath seems to be working for you. I think I would be frozen in shock. Instead here you are thinking positive thoughts (even if you don't feel them?) and putting a hopeful spin on things. They say that thinking positively reinforces the positive neural pathways in the brain - I don't quite understand it and often forget, but I do think it's true. So I am hoping that all that paddling helps you to feel good (or at least OK) and for some good results for you to come in terms of housing and support. Whether that is motel-hopping or some other good solution, whatever suits best.
