Learning to live (and be myself) again

Learning to live (and be myself) again

I've been through some major highs and lows since i recieved my diagnosis. And by highs and lows i mean stages of good and bad health. Stages of working and unemployment. Bouts of depression and anxiety on a daily basis....I've had all sorts of stuff going on basically.

@Zoe7 yes staying on top of things is indeed very difficult when living with MI - I've got addictions I'm also trying to manage or rid myself of. They take a huge toll on my finances . Life is hard enough even without these things . Thinking am going to put extra effort into coping stradegies. Maintaing relationships and changes.

Having things that take a toll on our finances really does add to our stresses @eudemonism It is not easy to confront our addictions and deal with them so great for you to be doing that - I hope you can get on top of it all. Also remember that if you don't succeed the first time then you can try again - no failure in that just a learning process You have a great atitude to making those changes though and that is half the battle already won 👍

Yes @Meowmy indeed it does. Sometimes i sit and reflect on my life and think wow what a mess it turned out to be. During these times i get a huge sense of regret . It is probably better to look forward then to look back. But it's hard not to do. Some housework some weeding and a small walk is on the cards for tommorow .

Yep I'll keep that in mind @Faith-and-Hope it's easy to forget about in the midst of peril and chaos . So thanks for reminding me.

Hoping the meds settle you a bit @eudemonism but that depot is not a life long situation for you.

I took extra meds today. Its seems to be all in using them wisely .. but not overuse ... I hope you get clear on the changes you need to make ... change can be hard when we are settled in a rut .... but also turn out to be much better in the long run. I was so upset to leave my church choir about 3 years ago ... devastated ... but my current music groups are so much more satisfying ... FInd your dreams and make some of them come alive ...

Cheers Mate

@eudemonism I’m on my coffee round this morning, so dropping off one if you drink coffee, or tea that is. Hoping today has some small wins in it for you. ☕️☕️☕️☕️💜💜
