Learning to live (and be myself) again

Learning to live (and be myself) again

I've been through some major highs and lows since i recieved my diagnosis. And by highs and lows i mean stages of good and bad health. Stages of working and unemployment. Bouts of depression and anxiety on a daily basis....I've had all sorts of stuff going on basically.

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

Yea @MDT bit of solidarity, connection, support and a distraction. However it don't change a great deal for someone's real life problems and circumstances .

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@Appleblossom yea i see your point ... maybe like @MDT said ... maybe I'm due for a break ... ultimately it's my decision and ultimately myself has to live with the repercussions ...

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

It is what it is @eudemonism not MH triage its ok group play if that is a thing and whether there is value in it is your call. I don’t think I expected it to solve any of my problems. I have been on here like 3yrs now it’s support/social. I also question it. But have to define it first, think

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@eudemonism Hey eudemonism you would be so missed. You are very interesting and fun to have around and I hope that the friendships that you have on here have helped you in some way, but the choice is yours. Maybe spend 2 weeks away from the forum and see how you go. Give yourself some breathing space before you make such a big decision. peaxx

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

Thats right @eudemonism

My circumstances are only slightly changed. I still dont have lots of friends or family to support me. SO that was how it was when I was 6, before I went into the orphanages. I am older. I have had a few good experiences in last few years tho. Life is still pretty unfair in many ways. I can get along myself, if I find enough things to do and keep out of trouble.

Life is not a LEVEL Playing field.

Time out might be good for me too.

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@TAB just got stuff I'm trying to deal with that the forums will most likely never help me achieve.

@Bunniekins yea i think all I'll have to do is go into settings and find the right button to press, enter in my password and I'll be deactivated ...
