Learning to live (and be myself) again

Learning to live (and be myself) again

I've been through some major highs and lows since i recieved my diagnosis. And by highs and lows i mean stages of good and bad health. Stages of working and unemployment. Bouts of depression and anxiety on a daily basis....I've had all sorts of stuff going on basically.

@eudemonism I know what you mean eudemonism. I try and remember everyone and yet there are always one or two who I miss which really bugs me .

Thank you @eudemonism @Molliex @Bunniekins

hello to all others also

yes well done on remembering so many...

@Bunniekins interruption in sleep cycle is awful..I have just recently changed medication and spaced out times I take my medication at night..

seems to be working until I am woken by the sound of snoring..I then toddle of to another room and most nights fall back to sleep..

I am still very tired often though...I think that is part of the depression..anxiety and grief..

I feel for you @Bunniekins ..I know that you have so much going on for you in your life...

I haven't been for a walk for a while..(isolating) are you still walking?

@eudemonism feeling for you also when you are struggling through some days...you do find a way through and every now and again I catch a glimpse of that sense of humour of yours that I love.

Hello @Molliex

did I speak to you on another thread? I can't remember...depression makes me even vaguer than normal if that is possible..

sending you all a big hug 💚

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@Sophia1 Hey Sophia1 yes I still go for walks and with my beautiful neighbour most mornings at 4.30am :D! We watch the sun rise and look at the wildlife go about its business against the humming of the traffic. It is very soothing. Went for a midnight walk by myself last night and it was scary .... all the shadows made my imagination run riot. I wont be doing that again in a hurry.

Yes re medications I am struggling, sorry to hear you are going through similar problems too. I hate my medications as I am sure you know as I grizzle about it from time to time. I no longer have snoring to contend with though lol :D.

I hope you are doing okay .... well better than okay. Funny how sane has thrown us together and now we have this wonderful internet friendship which I value highly. Take care my friend. Love peaxx

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again

@eudemonism Hey good evening. Saw your post re worries for the future years. I just like to say. When you get through these years, the older years are actually better than we imagine to be. Hope we all keep good beliefs and get through. Take care.
