I've been through some major highs and lows since i recieved my diagnosis. And by highs and lows i mean stages of good and bad health. Stages of working and unemployment. Bouts of depression and anxiety on a daily basis....I've had all sorts of stuff going on basically.

@Sophia1 yeh I'm hearing you. What i was dealing with has passed . But it's happened countless times before . What do you think is right for you? Is a good question. I get anxiety sometimes. Depression others . And even pyschosis at times .

Yeah I see Eude
@eudemonism
The worst thing to do is to push yourself and tyrannise yourself too.
What steps are you taking?

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again
@Zoe7 yes it's the small achievable goals which catch me off gaurd. I notice i go into i don't feel like it because it's to hard mode . And then end up laying in bed with depression for anyehere from 1 to 5 hours . And when I've finally come to and been through rock bottom coping mode . It's all still waiting there to be done. And i set these goals because it's all I've got to achieve reasonable mental and physical well-being .

@MDT getting ready to switch off for the evening now. Do some meditation and self talk before bed . Not big on screen time after sunset . I try to nurture my natural circadian rhythm as best i can.

Re: Learning to live (and be myself) again
That is tough @eudemonism but I know what you mean. There was a long time that I felt exactly the same - even doing the simple things like housework seemed unachievable. That is why I am concentrating now more on the present moment and what I can achieve in the here and now. Sometimes that gives me more impetus to do other things ans sometimes one thing is enough. I am also in a much better place than I was a year ago - have more energy and therefore can achieve more but I definitely hear you about how tough it is to just get the small things done.

@Zoe7 i thought to myself today. Volunteering probably wouldn't be as bad as i think because everybody probably in their own struggle.
