Hi Shaz 🙂

Just wondering, as I understand you and hub are in business together.

Is it worry about the business that is the trouble? Financial, ability to do the work, future viability of the work....

Just wondering, as I also am in a family business. I know financial stress is a real bummer 😞

Hello @BlueBells

thank you for your message

How are you today ??

My hubby who has MI is finding the physical workload is getting harder -- we do cleaning and mowing

Financial,is no worries , but it is the customers

One place we work at is getting more and more stressful so I think we might have to cancel that job due to my hubby`s health -- he feel depressed at this certain place , he doesn`t know why

so we have been cutting back to make it more calmer

also we are having a hiccup withhis meds at the moment

How is your business ??

Re: Anxious Sundays

Hi Shaz 🙂

I'm fine, thanks 🙂 (I'm polite 😄 )

Customers. Yep, I understand that. I find employees a way bigger headache than customers, though, in our business.

As it is tied with agriculture, it has good and bad times, and that can put strains on everything.

I don't know what MI is, but I think you are wise to cut back, though.

Sometimes, a place can have good or bad 'vibes', though mostly I don't notice, just sometimes I prefer to avoid a shop or area....just has an 'uncomfortable feel' about it. I think it would be wise if you could pass that customer to another business, for your peace of mind.

Hugs 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hi @BlueBells

MI -- short for mental illness

Re: Anxious Sundays

Hi Shaz51, how awful for him to be feeling all those conflicting emotions but at least he is verbalising it to you rather than internalising these thoughts about how he is feeling!!! However, how does one respond when someone says that???? That I do not know!!!!! Although when I don't know what to say I just listen.....well try too!!! Then I put my two cents worth in lol. Was today a better day??? My partner is back working when there is work ....has done four days which is pretty good seeing as he has only been home a fortnight tomorrow. He confided that at the moment he is battling with wondering what he did/ said when psychotic or whether he imagined he did/ said these things!!! I really feel for him as it must be so confusing! I have shielded him from some but not all of what actually happened!!!! Anyway, let's hope we all have a relatively calm but productive rest of the week😀

Re: Anxious Sundays

That is a good point @Attahua

sometimes just listening is hard without talking too much

at least he is verbalising it to you == he doesn`t tell me straight away ,he thinks about it too much before saying something and then he opens up

hope you have a good night sleep and a good day tomorrow

Re: Anxious Sundays

Hi Shaz 🙂

Just wondering about the depression and anxiety.

Is it possible for you two to take a break, a week, or at least a weekend, where you just 'chill out', no business (ignore the mobile) and low key, no "sightseeing" as such.

Just absolutely no pressure....maybe spend a day just wandering in a park or on a beach, have a snack at a cafe, fish & chips on a river bank.

Whatever the two of you feel is very low key, low stress, and just take a break together.

Probably heard that an hundred times already, but, it is something that I think would have helped me years back.

Hugs 🙂 🙂 🙂

Re: Anxious Sundays

Hi Shaz 🙂

Balance....pretty easy , actually 🙂 When flattened by stress and anxiety and generally trying to hold everything together.....it all flattens out hahahaha

Seriously, I don't know that I ever did, really. Life just "happened", the business survived, the children grew, the marriage disintegrated....and I'm still wondering what is happening.

That's why I'm suggesting you two take breaks together. Try to keep the marriage alive.

I think your's is on a healthier grounding anyway, as I was trying to do both sides of keeping ours together, and I simply ran out of steam 😞

Hugs 🙂 🙂 🙂
