The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Hi @Shaz51 How has your day been?
I'm trying to talk myself into making an apple pie. 😮 Craving sweets as usual. 😐
Must be cuppa time. Nice sunny day here today. Did you work today? 💕

Re: The Beer Garden

@Former-Member.I think yes it was hard. Beyond anything I'd known.
It was already fueled with heartache, & false highs...that sense of normalcy had long departed.
I have fond memories of my son & I on our own.
I used to have odd nightmares then.
Happened after the birth..
My birth was not traumatic, I felt invincible..naive.
When I was hemorrhaging my mum looked worried, it was then I knew ok maybe alll is not well!
I read to escape everything that was falling apart in my world when my son slept and cried a lot.
I learnt to pull up on my own emotions because it affected my son, one day he cried & cried.
I knew it was me, my milk wasn't right because I was so upset.

I'm anxious tonight.
I had a house full of kids this afternoon.
Two of my son's have woken unsettled.

Upon school pick up today I was struck how the clicky mums group totally ignore my existence now.
I can pass by and smile to get blank looks.
I'm not worried.
I'd rather not be privy to such interactions.
So just making my way like all others for now.

Wishing everyone a peaceful evening.
Oh yes I will try and catch more moments to rest when I can.
Of late, my body is feeling too sensitive.

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi @Former-Member

I feel badly for other people and myself because I couldn't get into the website for some hours so I couldn't get back to you about the cabbage leaves - I think it's you who has mastitis - I can't find that post now

Anyway - I looked it up and some people are in favour and other people are against it- it is the way of the world - it probably works if you believe in it and doesn't if you don't

And you went through a rotten time in the past - and I am sorry about that - a baby is unpredictable - mine were quite different - and the time passes so fast

Cliquey or clicky people - they have their own catty agenda - and enjoy themselves at the expense of other people - no one can win against them - they are co-dependent - I let them have their little games but yes - it can hurt when they single us out for their icy stare
