Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Living and loving someone with MI presents relationship challenges and often others cannot see why we chose to stay with our partners.

Being mindful of not intruding on others stories I thought having a thread where we can share tips and encourage one another would be of value.

@Shaz51

How did you sleep last night?

Did Mr Shaz wake up at the usual time?

hello @Former-Member

I did the usual get up 4 times a night because of the kidney

but overall slept until 9am

Mr shaz turned the alarm off ( he remembered -- well I reminded him when i was falling asleep )

he did wake up at the usual time but rolled over and went back to sleep , woke up at 10am

Hello @Shaz51 @Determined @Former-Member @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope

hope you are all doing well - whatever that is - had a horrible week unfortunately - looking forward to my therapy session this week that’s for sure ! The poor woman won’t know what hit her 😂 Hopefully it will help to remind me why I am still with him living this terrible illness .... he tells me he is “normal” and doesn’t need his meds .... dear me 😩

Yeah ..... I know about that @Differentlife . Feeling for you so much. My hubby is remaining settled most of the time if we don’t challenge anything he does, but there is no diagnosis, no therapy, no medication. We are just walking along with him for as far as we can go 😔

I am sorry your hubby is being so difficult. It sucks. Take care of you ❣️
