Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Living and loving someone with MI presents relationship challenges and often others cannot see why we chose to stay with our partners.

Being mindful of not intruding on others stories I thought having a thread where we can share tips and encourage one another would be of value.

I rather suspect that as a long term caregiver it would be easy to end up in a rut and not be open to doing things different ways or exploring ideas that would make life a heck of a lot easier for ourselves.

Important that we keep sharing the things that frustrate us as we can benefit from the the ideas that are floated around as to how others manage.

Sometimes we can stumble across things that are really helpful or have "Eureka moments" and l love hearing about these if you have any to share.

@Former-Member what things are frustrating you at the moment my friend xx

the things that frustrates me is --- mr shaz saying " ohh we should of done that today " or " I thought about doing this today " when we have arrived back home or it is too late to do anything about it
