having a bad morning

having a bad morning

I am feeling that my life at the moment is crap. I am so depressed and find that more so in the mornings. I hate myself so much, the way I feel, the way I act and behave. I know people will say to me 'oh just get over it' or 'you're not trying hard enough' - well to those people who say that: Do you have a mental illness; do you know what it's like to have depression and feel so dark that you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel; do you self harm to get rid of your emotions and to feel the pain; or do you think about suicide because it's all too much and you can't handle the pain anymore - NO. So don't tell me to just 'move on' or 'stop being too sensitive'.

I am not having a good morning this morning; tears are flowing as i am typing. And I have to get ready for work; damn work. Sometimes I wonder if life is worth living and why?

I really don't know how i am going go today at work; I feel so depressed. 😞

Re: having a bad morning

Hi @BlueBay

I remember the Mr Men Books - I think we had all of theme - my kids loved them and I always felt they were educational

Maybe we can write our own Mr Huff 'Puff - we have to find some humour where and when we can and it is a small thing to have something out of place or sand in the car -

You have so much to work through - we can all read that - but it seems that Mr Huff n Puff is making it annoying for you - it's not as if it's a big deal

So many of us were abused in different ways - that is far harder to overcome - and yes - I know your husband has OCD and I don't think he sees anything wrong with that. That's a toughie - but it could help to see the funny side but I doubt he would appreciate that too much either

Ah life - I guess it does have it's funny side

I care - Decadian

Re: having a bad morning

@Shaz51. Yes I'm good today. Been a bit reflective over the weekend and was able to just sit with sadness & have a cry and actually feel what that was like. It was good to be able to do that.
I guess my weekend has been more internal work than physical work. May have to get back into some more weeding this week & maybe some housework - yuk.

Re: having a bad morning

Wow @Shaz51

That is a lot of work for someone who is not in good health - I remember the days - I never found running a home in any way fulfilling - though I liked to cook

Now I have other people doing it - and I notice how much work is done by the women here - and I must mention that there has to be a while other side - but having these chores which were often everyday and then dinners - dinner dinner dinner - what's for dinner mum? Soy bean patties - urk - chop suey - more groans - we had a seasoned roast every weekend - and I made that last for sammidges for days -

I hope you are reasonably well

We could go into business publishing what we learn about ourselves here - keeping who we are and who the other people anonymous of course

What I read - oh yes - we could have the lighter side but some of the philosophy and trials people face and how they cope - plenty of really useful material here for everyone to go on

Just think of the wealth of "how to" books we could write and how great that would be. There will always be new mothers confronting the new baby in the bath water and making sure they knew which was which

How to deal with men - those that are unprepared for life as responsible husbands and fathers - those men whose mothers brought them up believing they were the centre of the universe -

And of course we must not forget our champions - the men that hold it together through thick and thin - learning as they go as I don't believe fatherhood comes quite as easily as motherhood - which isn't easy either.

And the changes in generation - 50 is the new 40s - we have to last longer in this day and age and how do we plan to fill in the lasts years of our lives -

We are writing a gold-mine of info here and right now - it's all at the bottom of the rainbow - how glad I am that I stumbled upon SANE Forums
