Thank you @Former-Member

I was brought up in a very traumatic home when I was younger which I cant talk about just yet. And then something something else happened to me too. Iv had a very hard life. I have tried to SI so many times and I have always SH. I on a lot of meds to drain out the voices. They come and go now.
I just wish my life was better

@Sans911

Hi Sans would you be able to help/talk to @lolliepop I just felt in my spirit that you may be able to add to the support for her as you are a nurse, & consumer, & you have so much to give to others as I see it, only if you feel up to it? I hope you do not mind me asking, thank you.

Love & Hugs!

Bella xo 🙂

You dont have to talk about your truamas if you dont want. Thats perfectly fine. I have an attempt to my name and self harm too. Sorry i cant remember if you said you have support people like psychologist?

@The-red-centaur @Queenie and @Bunniekins are other members that hear voices too. Perhaps they have some advice as well.

Hello @lolliepop

I had a similar background - am a survivor of childhood abuse and a difficult life in parts - but there were also good parts; have struggled like you do. But still managed to achieve much - as you have in your studies and motherhood - we tend to overlook our strengths and the good as this pain and mental ills can dominate. I get how hard it is - sending a warm hug.

Just want you to know that you are not alone, others do care and it does and can get better. Hang in there step by step, one day at a time. Only talk when you are ready and comfortable to do so - we will be here for you whenever they may be. Am still with you listening in care and understanding. Hope today has been a better one xx

Re: All alone in lolliepop land

Hi there @lolliepop, as outlander has said, I am a voice hearer. Not a day goes by that I don't hear voices telling me some truly awful things. Although my voices are caused by psychosis, I believe this psychosis was triggered by traumatic life experiences. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone in the voice hearing experience.

Sorry it's taken a little while to get back to the forum, I was on a break for a while as part of self care strategies.

Re: All alone

Well I have been studying all day. And now I'm sitting outside all rugged up having a coffee and fat and falling asleep. And I still have heaps more to do. I think I might have to be up most of the night to pull this exam off
