Here’s a thought @The-red-centaur ...,. it might not appeal to you, but I thought I would mention it in case it does. You can buy one of those “grippy stick” things at discount shops like Red Dot - you know the ones that look a bit like a robot’s hand, and when you pull the lever at the top of the handle, it closes the grip on the hand ? If you take one of those and a plastic bag, and go for a walk, picking up rubbish as you go and dumping it into the bag, and when it is full, dump it into a bin ..... you get to practice picking up different and difficult things, done heavy, some light, some bulky, some flimsy, but you’re actually improving your hand-eye Co-ordination in the process .....
If anyone asks what you’re doing, you can say that you’re unemployed and keeping yourself busy this way, if you want to keep your circumstances a bit private until you know them better.
Like sitting in a coffee shop, you can get to know local people on your travels.
If it sounds like a lousy idea to you, just ignore it. You might think of something else.
If you like drawing, grab a sketch pad and pencil and go draw things.
