@Bella1978.
Oh that is no good. But I think transferring her to the ED - the staff there will just automatically hook her up to the bp machine. No arguing. And after being there for a while, she may be happy to let the unit staff do it.
Sending you hugs

@utopia
hey sweetheart, how are you this evening? im guessing you are pretty exhausted after today. i hope you are feeling calmer this evening though. im sorry i wasnt there for you as much as i would have liked to. just read over your posts again, im so sorry your anxiety was so high today.
im home now. mum was admitted to public hospital. they are keeping a close eye on her to monitor her behaviours. she refused meds this morning and her bp was high so her psych thought best to transfer her to public hospital for medical review (im not as keen on her psych as i used to be). i feel like he's throwing his hands up in the air as he doesnt know what is wrong with mum. although i know she wasnt compliant so it makes it hard for him, especially in the private mental health sector.
mum is in a room where the nurse's station is so she is being monitored 24/7. psych's dont work on the weekend (???) so she will be reviewed on monday. i told them i want tests to be done to confirm/rule out what it could be, ie signs of dementia, etc. im sick of mum being sent home and back in hospital again. i stayed with her all day today. im hoping they do the right thing by her, find out what is wrong and help her.
@Shaz51 @outlander @Bunniekins see above re: my day and how mama is going.
@outlander how did you go at doc's today??
thanks everyone for thinking of me today and for checking in with me - it means a lot!
