Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

Battling MI whilst caring for someone with MI

Struggling atm. Just want to chat, distract my mind. Mum has depression, recently discharged from mental health clinic. I can see she's not well but she internalises. We are usually so close but she just wants to be on her own, doesn't want to engage in much conversation. Perhaps I'm feeling sorry for myself as I miss our relationship. I can see that my depression and anxiety is increasing, which is making it harder to cope. Feeling alone tonight.

@outlander. It's where, for example, your bp automatically rises when you go to the doctor. As soon as you know they are going to take your bp, it rises. This is not a conscious decision. But I'm guessing my psychologist will recommend that I do more relaxation tecniques every day. Think it's common with people living with anxiety. apparently even those with mild anxiety.

It's fairly common @outlander. But I was 100% sure I didn't have it. lol. Turns out I really do.

The problem is that i never feel anxious. I feel quite calm and relaxed when the doctor or a nurse or anyone takes my bp. It's all in my head. Literally. Google it. You may find it interesting.

Some days are just super hard @outlander. They are the worst.

Don't think @Bella1978 would have any problem with you talking here.
