For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.
Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Delicato atm as just mentioned to son I might be writing another Royal Commission submission. He expressed strongly that it was not going to be useful. Have taken prn like good girl. He, bless his soul is cooking dinner for tonight. Keto Carbonara .... the mind boggles . .. but I dreamed up pureed cauliflour as a base.
We will see what it tastes like.

I had one 'regular' customer - this was very annoying -
call out to me from another counter - I work in retail in a mixed business -
then after I 'called out' to reply to her 'greeting' - she went and told the other staff
that I was 'shy' .....
I have spoken to her before - does she have a memory problem recently I helped her
by explaining where to do early voting - it's not as if I never talk to her
I wasn't even facing her I was at my own counter so wy should I 'greet' her
And she shouldn't make any comments to other staff very very annoying
Must be something in the water around there
I suppose things could be a lot worse - but I hate it when people say things like that -
when they 'pick' on you for nothing

@jamesle2015 getting work stuff right is hard. Is not nice to be talked about as if you cant even hear.
Where I am at the zoo, everybody acknowledges each other with a smile or a nod when passing, and it feels good and is partly cos you may not see each other. We dont worry about names, just a small gesture is fine. It is a very large space and many areas and mainly outside ... there is no one right way ....
I am not too bad. Had a lovely day in garden and with people and coming bub
