Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Re: Fragile

Ta for Weil links @Appleblossom . I'd like to know more on her views of affliction, and the entrainment of evil in creation. And attention as antidote.

Hope you're going well. Floundering here.

Re: Fragile

All over the place here @Dimity Drove across town and back last night and it was a good night. Haad good time with my son, but have an appointment with dude who cancels in one minute! Lets see if he shows up.

Will look at poem, but cant get it to magnify larger enough for me to read, but I will find it on the net.

Re: Fragile

Nup. He did not show, but at least I had some words to him in the background, when my son phoned to check what on earth was going on. I think it is one of the first times in my life, I have vented being annoyed, said it was becoming a laughing stock, but not funny. He seemed nice enough, but seems he is used to a different type of people to us. We kept being available for his appointments. Anyway. Lets see if he comes next week, but I am now, so unimpressed with the services, I am talking straight from Protective Mamma mode, and not so apologetic.

Re: Fragile

Re: Fragile

Yes @Appleblossom Brian Bilston is very clever.

No shows are rude and (if a service provider) unprofessional. Sounds as though you might be able to practice your assertiveness starting with him. Hope all is ok with your son.

Listened to a CAC podcast on Emily Dickinson today. I should make an effort to read her, I've only seen a few of her poems.

Re: Fragile

@Dimity i was in a creative lived experience workshop tonight, and a lady mentioned "nihilism" and she is going to love that poem when I send it to her when I am home. Lol. So thanks again... Helps the flow of good will... The stars are aligning. Oh no, I am going to sound New Age.

I did a thesis on Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath and Adrienne Rich.

She is a beautiful writer and soul.

Sending gentle hugs

Re: Fragile

Thanks @Appleblossom yes Hannah 🐕‍🦺 is great 👍.

Assistance Dogs make a huge difference to their handlers lives, wonderful creatures that they are. ❤️. Hannah makes such a difference to me, opening up my world. Allowing me to get out and do things I wouldn't do without her.

This morning Hannah and I have Pilates class. Then we have been invited to a group lunch at a restaurant in town. So a busy day. Bit stressful for me, but Hannah will love it 😊 the cheeky girl.

Wondering if you saw the flowers I posted for you a few days back? It's on previous page now, so you may have missed them.

Have a good day 💞
