For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.
Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Started attending a faith based mental health group as facilitating/peer support ...irl

I dont hold with every aspect of their format, but the 2 facilitators are doing their best. I am being sussed out as facilitator but am also, not totally towing the line to self denial and people pleasing level. They are coping and giving me wriggle room. I am just being me. It has a good sense of peer support.

Thanks for the tag on your thread @Appleblossom You may be fragile but I think you are also very resilient!! I actually think a fragile person is someone who hasn't hardened despite life's difficulties. I think you feel things deeply and are sensitive to both beauty and pain. In many ways, I see them as strengths. 🌷
Isaiah 42: 3 is a picture of God caring for those who are vulnerable rather than dismissing them. 🙏
