I made it to the Anzac Dawn Sercie this morning .... ✔️

Had a good nights sleep last night ..... ✔️

Went out as a family with no last-minute pull-outs the night before last .....✔️

Planning to return to my own studies ..... ✔️

S2 is applying for Equity Learning Support to help manage his mh recovery under our wonky home situation ..... ✔️

S2 has been getting assignments in ..... ✔️

S2 has resumed his music studies ..... ✔️

D1and SnIL are coming to visit after Mother’s Day .... ✔️

We are going to visit the married ones for Mother’s Day ..... will have all my dragons together again ...... ✔️

D3 is still struggling, having more down days than up ..... 🙁

Mr reduced his excercise activity after an injurious incident, but after saying the reduction was going to remain, it hasn’t ..... and he is so exhausted at night he can’t walk straight ..... 🙁

D3 and mr. are being argumentative and controlling (stressed), both acting as if that’s my fault ..... 🙁

Loving those ups @Faith-and-Hope! how excitring that you're going back to your own studies -- what will you study? and yay for having all your dragons together again! That sounds exciting for you and very pleasing. ❤️

so sorry to hear about those downs though. it must be really tough being caught between d3 and the mr, and to have d3 having mental health struggles & mr with his physical stuff on top of that. thank you for sharing those with us though, the ups and the downs both.

Sorry i missed this before

The bulk of the mental stuff is coming from mr. @OhanaSystem .... and it appears to have triggered something genetic in S2 and D3 ..... the physical stuff with mr. appears to be symtomatic rather than the actual issue itself .....

Everything is “appears to be” because we dont have diagnosis, treatment and support for his situation at this stage ..... it’s S2 who showed up on the medical radar, so only a part of the big picture has been uncovered.

Meantime we have to try to get up and on regardless, and wait for mr.’s issues to surface in due course, holding onto every positive we can find along the way.

that sounds really rough, @Faith-and-Hope, i'm so sorry your family are going through that 😞 i'm glad you're able to find positives along the way to hold onto, though. that's important, no matter what's going on for us.

Doing the best we can with what we have got @OhanaSystem ..... hubby has no insight into being unwell, despite the fact that his hidden behaviours make it very clear that he is ..... because he is living a double life, it has forced us into a double life. The consequences are too great to do anything other than keep trying to walk along with him.
