Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

My dearest @Sophia1 My heart skipped a beat seeing my kindred spirits name in notifications. Trying so hard to not allow the grief to be all and everything. Some days easier than others. My girl has slipped so far out of my reach now with substance abuse robbing me of the last threads of who she was. Her whole persona has shifted, no longer any sweet words even if used only for manipulation. Now only harsh heavy demands. I am desperate to float in the ocean, my saving grace, but water still freezing at this point. Winter feels extra harsh this year, perhaps because I’m ageing and I constantly feel this sense of urgency to see my girl but know the pain of seeing her in her current state and then driving home without her would be so so difficult. She refuses contact anyway 🥹. Still no other who fully understands this pain Sophia so very grateful that you have dropped by. Often in my thoughts. 🙏❤️

OOh @Jacques

You have surpassed your achievements yet again.

It sounds deluxe.

I can only imagine how overjoyed and proud your mum was.

You are a wonderful son.

Brief replies are great. Some days we are drained or busy or just do not have words

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hi @Sophia1 @EternalFlower

It’s my husband’s birthday today. He has made it to 65. We popped his seniors card application in the post today. Just to make his birthday memorable part of our front fence blew over. What a disaster! We rang the insurance company but they want to send their own repairer and the neighbour has a brother who can do the work and has replaced part of the fence before. So to keep them happy we will just go with the brother. I don’t know why the insurance company can’t just pay it out like they did last time.

How are you hun?

I hope that you are well.

I have been thinking of you.

I was really pleased to see you online the other day! I have missed your presence but I know you have struggled.
You do you and I will chat to you as you feel that you are able to.

Hi @EternalFlower

How are you doing?

thinking of you x
