Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

You are north of me. @Jacques

It was good to just potter out the back and tidy it up. Has given us privacy.

Re: Living with Ourselves

Yes it is really me @tonys.

Bookeeper I know that you are by his side. Thank you very much as he has been an absolute treasure here for me personally and several others. My message to convey.

I am shocked to hear of your induced coma and infection. At the same time relieved of your yet again awakening.

I am aware that you had an existing ABI and that will be taken into consideration with your treatment and ongoing care; needs.

I had a mild TBI and am still dealing with reoccuring post concussion symptoms so easily triggered. So your recovery and rehabilitation do need to be your first and foremost concern.

Please please please listen to the latin speaking individuals (that really reached my smile)

Rest rest rest....Hydrate hydrate hydrate.....smile smile smile when you can

You still have your beautiful humour.

You still have your beautiful bookeeper whom I am sure was instrumental in your receiving help.

You still have your friends on the forums.

To use your very own words Tonys your friends here will always be waiting. They will even if just in their hearts.

Please do not pressure yourself to reply.

Behave laugh.....Boring I know

Stay safe

Sophia

Hoping Bookeeper is recovering from COVID.

Hello @Jacques

I am so sorry to hear about your mum's health.

That would have been very frightening to hear.

I know the strong bond that you both share.

You are stronger and braver than you realise. This often goes hand in hand with long term grief and pain along with all of the symptoms.

It took great strength to have that discussion with your partner as I know it is not your true wish, more the strong need you feel to be there for your mum always.

I hope that your partner understands and that you can still continue your close relationship without the planning of moving in together.

There are so many ways of having relationships. It is not what the films and fiction describe.

One day at a time as you have much that you are still overwhelmed with. Shock takes time to leave our bodies.

Write when you feel up to it and about what you feel comfortable with.

It is good that you also still have the long term connection with Appleblossom.

I know that you understand each of us cannot always respond straight away when looking after ourselves.

Are you still in touch with Bill16?

stay safe

Sophia

I read about your freshly painted front fence contrasting with the hedge. Sounds stunning.

Designer another skill to add to your growing list.

Hello @Oaktree

Thank you so very much for your warm message.

I don't believe that anyone has ever told me that I have been missed exceedingly before.

I feel very special even if you might have told a thousand other people, I am still holding onto this.

What a wonderful surprise for all of us to hear from Tonys. I am not tagging him again as he really does need to rest before his journey in rehabilitation and recovery.

I will write later about our holiday.

I am still recuperating from covid which many know leaves fatigue and other horrible symptoms for some time.

You are enjoying your garden which is my special place to feel more of myself.

When you have the time you can tell me about it.

I am staying close to here as my brain becomes overwhelmed with confusion once I start spreading myself out.

One day at a time.

take care

Sophia

Hello @EternalFlower

I hope that life is being kinder to you and some change for the better is helping your through; no matter how small it might seem.

I am staying over here for a while to catch my breath.

I do understand if you want to stay in your space. I know the feeling all too well.

Just wanted to let you know that you still matter and I have not forgotten you.

You are always welcome here.

Perhaps it was remiss of me not to include you sooner. I did not want you to feel pressured as I know how much you have been dealing with.

So without rambling anymore as I do.

Welcome in whatever way you want for you.

Sophia

Dear @Sophia1

I have never told anyone else that I have missed them exceedingly. You are the first. I will write you a letter about my garden later.

Take care and look after you. Covid is no joke.
