Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

well I really do not know where to start @tonys

My response that I wrote yesterday, after taking hours, seems quite outdated in comparison to the latest events.

Here it is regardless...hopefully is not confusing..

Hello my dear friend

Your poem was beautiful and one to be read again and again to reach the spaces in between the depths from where you wrote and the depths that the eye of the beholder will allow to take themselves when they read artistry from another.

Every poem written by anyone is unique to that person unless plagiarised of course which does happen as we know..

On the peer chat thread you wrote:

... Please share if you think It will give someone an insight into autism

I felt again another invitation into the world of Tonys...

I did not sense or envision autism until I read your mention of the subject above..

Are you wanting to enlighten the world about autism?

What do you think of starting your own thread?

The game play might change though.

You could be opening up a different door to????

I think that you might be realising that this exists sadly...

If you were supported by Sane in doing so depending on the legalities that might be something for you to discuss with them.

Perhaps I am missing your meaning as I do not think about your autism when I read your letters.

Some days I think oh Tonys is struggling more today than the other day. Other days I might ask are you okay Tonys?

You do the same for me.

You astutely pick up on the times that I am sinking deeper in the ocean.

I want to make sure that I know what you want.

Do you want me to see you with autism? Is that what you are asking me? am I missing that need?

If you want to provide some insight into your world of autism I certainly am willingly to read your thoughts.

I have an idea of spectrum ranges but very little knowledge of anything at a deeper level.

Let me know your thoughts. A simple …No not me will even suffice.

Re: Living with Ourselves

@Sophia1 Hey there Sophia. Thankyou for your kind words my friend.. I hope had a sleep, where you could go somewhere else in a dream. Mate I'm always thinking about your struggles. Maybe Its more than a part of my little rhymes than I relize.

Being assessed as stagnant with accompanying instructions on how to write. Whilst unwelcome, I do like the courage he mustered in the apologies to us both, Few say sorry and mean it. Showed some good manners I feel. I respect that. I do notice the post seams to have been deleted too. And It was nowhere as bad as The last mailbox bomm I got a few weeks back. That was one I wished every one had seen. .! and I think he Is polite enough to leave me alone with out resorting to further measures.

Cured myself last night and this morn with a couple more rushed poems, make that rhymes, so Im not sure which one you liked.

Yes I hear you on plagiarism, book keeper found some old stuff of mine else where and it wasnt even good writing. Has the world got that sad.

Did you read the 4 lines of owluner poem Not tagging, don't want to embarrass her. but what would I give just to see the rest of that poem. Its just so deep, and complex I hope she releases something else one day.

If you tore your heart from your chest and offered it to me , It could not be more than you already do for me now. Mate , You give me everything I need, and I worry that I'm in the middle of that bridge to meet you with my offerings.

Well at your suggestion I did think about another thread, even had a name for it because of the movie on SBS. . . Sophies choice,

But then your friend got back to me and the dreary chat cloud, lifted. so just peacefully drifting along.

Rather than lots of mail. I get just enough sunshine from the odd letter now, and it is more sunshine than rain which Is a relief.

The hardest help to find on the NDIS in our town is someone who can help with social networking on the internet. They can name every rugby player and sporting rule and the cultured ones left for the city long ago. The book keeper, well much as I like her sister Helga

my German sucks. Now see. a bit of A2 just escaped then !

So I'm not strung up on A2. I just keep telling people, don't like, don't read it.

and as you very astutely picked up in your " is that deep enough for you" letter , by the way my favourite one, I'm not the only person living under this coat and hat.

So the book keeper has Joined the other site I once mentioned to you and they are working on ways to improve my lot. They are also very well woven into the NDIS fabric and are already sending both of us lots of new avenues. So I will be with familiar family there, and be here for you and other thoughtful folks. Already timed out once so will return later.

Legs crossed gotta go. big smile and hug tonys mb 1

Re: Living with Ourselves

hi there @Sophia1 Sorry mate. I said a whole lot and didnt answer your question.

The reason I have to continually refer to A2 is because I periodically get uninvited negative comments from people I did ' not write to' The did not write to, is the key point. I enjoy constructive polite alternative views, tips for improvement from those I write to and know, but from someone I don't know, or speak to rarely to I think It should be new friendship or abstinence or very courteous contribution, I can remember dancing delicately for two whole pages to politely ask someone not to assume how I feel in a polite way.

So I hoped, incorrectly that that sticking an A2 sign on the lawn would send people cruising forums looking for fault, away from a intellectualy challenged door. You see Its the social skills part that give people restraint and helps them be appropriate that is damaged.

Very Important for people to know. !

You handle me perfectly. Others will never get it and with all I explain above, Its 3 billboards

the movie, almost. No big deal.

I just have to adjust, avoid, rethink and sometimes be straight forward, almost blunt.

You however, just chuckle, take what you cant use, or enjoy and turn a blind eye when required,

A model of how to deal with A 2 and brain injured people.

As for compliments. you may have seen that red comb in the hair letter to apple b...

An A2 persons convoluted way of saying please don't do it. It just brings in enemy fire

from people with issues. I know I'm not the only one who has seen a recurring pattern.

Anyway that is the nature of the landscape we are deployed in, and I'm learning to edit delete and skip and I think I'm learning. So, the next tall drinks we share, lets just talk about you and have some fun again.

I would love to know what happened to that new friend you met around Christmas and I'm still wanting to hear about your arrival in Australia.

Have a lovely evening Sophia. work in progress tonys mb 1

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @tonys

My last post for tonight..I am very tired..

I actually wrote a reply thanking word man for the apology, earlier today..

I apologised to him also for my referring to him as religious. That was wrong of me. I wrongly made that assumption from reading a few of his posts…

I included him in a reply about art and all other styles of creativity..

Lewis Carroll and even Bob Dylan poet and musician ..

I think that it must have been censored also..

Perhaps he asked for it not to be visible…..

This is where confusion sets in and people do not get to know the full story..reading later..

You know this only too well..

As for more than one of you under the coat that makes no difference to me.

This is how I am with people in real life..

I have some interesting acquaintances and I find them so intriguing and not hard work

.. as I do the average person..

You are you..I don’t care how many.. all the more interesting..

my child mind loves that..
My favourite book was Alice in Wonderland and I adore The mad hatter and white rabbit..

You are interesting.. Owlunar has picked that up also..

Yes her sonnet was beautiful.. fragile…

your instinct was right there I feel..

Now the bridge.. staying in the middle is the best place to be..I expect no more..

we must find balance in ourselves..

I have read your other poetry pieces but need to be more alert when
I go back to read them again..

The Bookkeeper is a treasure..another who recognises your beautiful soul and is there to help you when you want..even if you might get a wooden spoon waved at you..

I was so happy for you when I read that things are moving forward and you will have support.. on the other NDIS platform….Finally…

That makes me happy Tony’s..

I can shun my armour and shield now..

The lighthearted Christmas friend and other stories are for another time..

Now is time for me to say goodnight..

Ever watch Peter Cook and Dudley Moore?

Night Pete.. Night Dud…

Yes I actually have a sense of humour as well.. very dry though ..

Night Tonys

@tonys I am (virtually) adding you into our class lol I think you would fit in well with my beautiful kids. They are a very creative group - as are you - so tonys is now a student in grade 1/2 😁

Re: Living with Ourselves

@Zoe7 hello Zoe, How's my favourite teacher. Yes I think I might fit right in, if you are very patient. My temporal lobe mechanic says I stopped developing about 10 or 12 years old. . . . which is O K.

But you will need a box of wooden spoons. Every waking hour is a struggle with restraint.

fortunately Ive got a social support worker sending my Unrestrained writing elsewhere now, I can tell when she's doing it. She's either laughing or looking sad.

Mate i have a huge favour to ask. I'm on a thread called friday feast, great bunch of folk I must say first, but my brain cant keep up with sorting my email and it moves a bit quick for me to dine there. crooked fat hands I have, and a lot comes from there.

How do I unsubscribe from a thread without having to bother sane chiefs. Must be a simple way and I just cant see it. Is it something you could help with

Also I received a post from a friend that looks like they need comfort and support. It said when it made it to my box that they "mentioned me in a post". Nice post from a dear friend struggling, but could not see where they tagged or "mentioned me". and they were receiving wonderful

support from a thread that sane managed to get me out off.

My first thought is, the computor made a boo boo.. but If not, Can you please pass on my love, hugs and support to this lady for now. till I get a better understanding of how things work. Unless some one tags me, I don't want to intrude, in the interests of their health.

I did aged care once and it took a specialist teacher 12 months, one on one, to just get me over the line, so , A good test of your teaching skills, but know you are busy.

I have made good progress since I joined sane, but their is just so much more to learn.

Only way to learn is to ask.

You will have to tell me a bit more about what is happening in you life. I remember you were a bit overwhelmed around Christmas but sense joy has returned with all those happy little faces and sticky little crayon clutching fingers. Opps, restraint slipping better go.

Nothing but the kindest thoughts to you @Zoe7 . zoe. tonys mb 1

Re: Living with Ourselves

I have patience when it comes to the kids @tonys but not always for adults ...you can be an honorary kid though 💖😁👍

To unsubscribe to a thread:

click on your profile icon near the top right of the screen - next to Guidelines & Info and New (where you click for notifications).

A drop down box will appear - click on Subscriptions then find the thread in the list - click on the little box next to that thread (a tick will appear).

Then click on Email Subscriptions Options, select Delete Selected Subscriptions -

then click on the Confirm box and you are done.

Sometimes in emails not all that is in the post is visible - that can include where you have been tagged. I find this sometimes but when I go to that thread a tag is there.

It is important that you do what is best for you - if that means not replying to a post for your own wellbeing then that is okay. You can support the post without having to write anything ...and by just clicking on the support button, you will not be subscribed to that thread.

Hope that helps 👍

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @Zoe7 . Yes I will right all that down on some paper and give it a go. I don't know anything about motor bikes and cars except how to keep my rusty Landcruiser and truck alive.

so I'm not much help on that thread. I do notice when ever I go into town, no one parks either side of me. . .

So if I click on that box that says 'email me if some one replies' does that mean I have unknowingly subscribed to that thread ?.

Is a community guide allowed to suggest threads. Looking for one that talks about movies,

nature, global affairs.

I have found some forums on the internet but they all want you to be on face book or similar and camera's run away from me. I just dont know how to do it plus id theft happened to me

from a passport application once.

I do know you have a lot of ground to cover so no hurry or maybe pass this to someone who can help if possible.

You are a great teacher and its an honour to be accepted into your class.

Thankyou so much Zoe @Zoe7 tonys mb 1
