Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

Well the original plan was to hang here til got inheritance then go somewhere nicer @Sophia1 even it was another caravan park, it could be by the beach eg. Plus this one has no cooling in sleeping area re summer.

plus while here supposed to be working on health which is sorta working but too many days off

also keep putting off looking at study options . I did get a couple payments so I could be looking at that now.

Hello @Zoe7

I can understand your shock at my reaction to the dropping of the urn and spilling of ashes incident.

Tears and smiles go hand in hand.

I think that my reaction was closer to hysteria than laughter. Better not to find a label.

It was me and my humour saving me.

Having all of your fur friends out there together sounds so comforting and definitely spiritual in my world.

My now cat is inquisitive on occasion but does not stay long as is not outside that often and only when accompanied.

He is unsettled with visiting magpies;kookaburras and all the other birdlife visitors.

Let alone dogs on their way to the park opposite.

He does not want to be outside for long in this weather even though he has a double coat.

I am hardly out there at all.

I think that he is isolating like me. Oh dear.

Well am out this afternoon and not medical either. Off to visit younger son who has a day off and has some free time.

Keep warm; try to rest and take care

Sophia 💛

Hello @TAB

Understand your need to move.

Sounds like you are juggling many scenarios there making it harder on yourself.

I am very familiar with this concept.

It does not work.

Focus on your home then you have a base to work from.

The other stuff is further down the list.

The health side is important and can be incorporated in the home search.

Movement.

Packing.

Planning.

exercising body and mind together.

Know all of the answers don't I.

Just need to remind myself as well every now and again.

Once up and running (not literally) it does work and is achievable.

I am working on the health and movement side myself at the moment also.

We can keep a tally.

Take care

more sun 💛

Never too busy to hear from you @Sophia1

Gentle Hugs ... Gentle Walk ...

Getting out can be a push, but usually its worth it, if we have been inside for a while.

Love you

Re: Living with Ourselves

Your cat sounds just like you Hon but that is not a bad thing @Sophia1 It is great that you can spend some time out with your son - enjoy every minute 💕

I think Cat would be happy that we got Clover - she has brought so much joy to the house - especially with the relationship her and Toby have. I miss my little introverted Cat - Clover is the opposite apart from when visitors are here. When she was a kitten she was much more snuggly/fearless with others but she doesn't see many people often so has become a Mummy's girl - I now have 2 little shadows but I would not have it any other way.

Re: Living with Ourselves

What a lovely gift to receive when I signed on.

Dear friend @Appleblossom

I did eventually get out.

Had to food shop in order to cook dinner for son.

Shop experience I hate always.

Cooking for son the memories came floating back.

I have not visited him on my own since probably christmas due to accident january and follow on.

Once at his home adjustment again of accepting his ways; his home; his manhood; his new life.

Slowly in his time he came around to my values and we actually ate the meal I had cooked, together at his dining room table. We had conversation as well. He thanked me for the meal and told me that he loved it.

Television on in the background one of my pet hates however his home, his values. I need to respect him also. I cannot have it all my way. I have to accept his values also.

We met somewhere in the middle which is what relationships of any kind are about.

Big hugs

Love shared

A lovely mother son time.

Am sad about loss of time with other son; twin had another tantrum a while back and of course not allowed to visit or ring mum

Will be nearly 5 years since I have seen her.

Birthday coming up and absence of loved ones is so glaringly apparent.

I know that I have come to terms with each experience however does not stop the feelings bubbling to the surface.

Twin stuff happening within.

Along with strong bond stuff with older absent son.

Am going away with husband and cat to an isolated place of my choice.

Have agreed to go out for lunch on the day and son will meet us there.

Depression is overpowering at the moment.

Breathe.

I need to find a hill to climb where there are trees; birds and views of water.

Lots of ohms

No mosquitoes again.

No covid or other of the current viruses invading our lives.

I might light a fire and send smoke signals.

Love you too Appleblossum we are warriors and survivors who carry the battle scars without shame now.

We have come far haven't we even though we are weary.

Will write to you again when can.

Sorry about length and do hope that my words do not hurt you.

Love

Sophia

I will be isolating away from isolating at home.

Hope to catch up on walking; reading and writing as well a feeling mesmerised by the sea.
