Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

love your analogy @MDT

right up my alley...

I often find wide-eyed responses to my comments that come from nowhere...

I used to worry about it...

now I find myself smiling inside...

had not thought of it as a strategy ploy...I like that concept...must do some more thinking around that aspect keeping it very subtle of course.

The only difference is that my outer world other than my immediate family as in mother sister, sons, now husband are the only ones who know that I have "official" "mental health" issues which I refer to as mind health...

Yet I find that I notice some interesting sitting on the side-lines questionable "issues" amongst all others.

Life is of course forever changing so what is questionable in one decade is not in another..

If only the rest of the world would realise this..

No matter

Take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

yes a good response @outlander what is a break?

I could get serious and dictate to you the meanings as per the oxford dictionary...

Good to hear that there is ongoing monitoring..the acat assessment should not be too far away if requested by his gp..

I will have a quick look at rough time.

@outlander

If the referral has been lodged they will get in touch with you.

I have just read back several pages of the thread that you mentioned...

oh goodness...I am so sorry to hear that you now have this concern added on to your already overloaded daily life..

As others have said it has been picked up and with the correct medication might be managed in time..

Of course rest, relaxation and stress free environments are always recommended in their worlds...

On a serious note...you do have to go into your room...shut the door and rest...

you cannot do what you do if you are not able to be up and about...

you want stage one and two to work...end of...

I must be off to bed as have to be up in 6 hours..

I need to hear that you are taking this seriously though...

are you going to put yourself first?

Re: Living with Ourselves

I am taking it seriously. I have been resting and keeping warm most of the day( was at drs asnd chemist for a while) and have put off the extra work i was offered over the weekend to help give the meds a fighting chance.
And no plans now for tomorrow either. Just movies and crochet and that sort of thing.

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond. Has been good catching up with you even at odd hours.
Goodnight @Sophia1 hope you get some sleep. Safe travels for tomorrow 💜💙💗❤🧡💛
