Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

@outlander

I read about your experience with chamomile tea on the other thread..

have you tried it with a little honey....if you normally use sugar

I drink it all of the time...I find it also helps with my anxiety...agitation...I don't have sugar

for me it is a substitute for tea or coffee...

the other thing is make it very weak to begin with if you want to persevere....I make about 3 drinks from one bag...not because I am extra frugal laugh...I prefer it weaker as it is quite flowery...

green tea is another one...again weak...if you use sweeteners...honey..

my sister was after lengthy tests etc diagnosed with lactose intolerance initially...later gluten intolerance as well....

some people have an intolerance of fructose and sucrose which is in just about everything ready made..along with a zillion chemicals..

not a pleasant thought for you...an arduous task having to keep a record of reactions to whatever foods as well..

you are probably tired of all of the suggestions that go along with having an allergy to something/somethings...

take care

Thank you for the suggestions ive still got heaps of tea bags and honey so will give it another go.
No we havent even explored allergies yet. They are thinking an ulcer but havent said anything else yet. I see gp on monday so will talk more about chest pain as well. I need to talk about another issue ive been having too when i see my women's nurse too.

How are you going?

Re: Living with Ourselves

@Sophia1Your new name really suits you. Glad you have not left. Good Luck with medical stuff.

@outlanderI thought exploring allergies would have been the first port of call with persistent tummy problems. Is your mother not into naturopaths etc?

Re: Living with Ourselves

My mother dosesnt know half of it @Appleblossom she really doesnt care so i just deal with it myself. Theres nothing specific causing thr pain thats prob why allergies havent been looked at yet. Thank you though ❤

Re: Living with Ourselves

I think that most people will eventually ...nice to be noticed let alone missed @NameUnknown @Bunniekins xx

@outlander

well done you for being curious about my avatar....it is steeped in history.....found out last year that my ancestors on my mother's side are not from where I thought...fascinated me so did some research...it was last year that I found out about my ancestors on my father's side...I love going back in time...I really think that I was born in the wrong era...remember having very same conversation with my dad....he felt the same about himself....many years ago now...miss him especially now...

my sister went through so many hoops and I think if I remember correctly it was over eighteen months...however that was over 20 years ago...heaven forbid that medicine has progressed much further within that time even if mental health awareness has not...

keep on asking questions....
