Living with Ourselves

Living with Ourselves

hello @eudemonism @eth @outlander @Bunniekins @Mazarita @Silenus @NameUnknown @Grasshopper3 @patientpatient @soul @Former-Member @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Friendconnect @Teej @utopia @Queenie @Appleblossom @Zam @perseverer @Janna @Owlunar @Former-Member @Former-Member

First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

take care

Re: Living with Ourselves

hello @Maggie

This picture is very close to one of mine...different colours...

the expression fits perfectly quite often not just during moving laugh...

thank you so much for support

I do hope that things are settling for you now with your move...

I am at the moment in lala land in between property we sold and house we are now renting...

am actually loving the new place with a reasonable size front garden and larger back garden...lawn...aged trees..have no idea what they are but love them..huge shed. with curtains would you believe...two side raised garden beds...one has some vegetables which I am adding to...the other minimal plants...again I am adding..

I am actually starting minimal gardening...although back is not happy...I am...

Do you have a communal garden where you are? Have you met some neighbours? discovered communal activities?

or perhaps just settling quietly in your new surroundings.....all or none of these most understandable...

look forward to hearing from you...

take care

Hello @Maggie @Owlunar @Former-Member @eth @Adge @outlander@Exoplanet@eudemonism@Former-Member@TAB@Shaz51@Teej@CheerBear@Sans911@Former-Member@Mazarita@Former-Member@Zoe7@MDT and others whom I might have forgotten

I am back fleetingly during house move...which most of us have probably experienced at some stage in our lives and know how much an upheaval it is not only physically ...mentally....metaphysically also...somewhere in the mix of those I am numb..

Much has been happening...what is new you all say...yes...

Thank you all for your ongoing support...thoughts...likes....having communicated with me at some stage in the last nearly two years since I first arrived...

I am back with "family member" in detainment....deteriorated health...constant communication thank goodness not all coherent sadly...connection is the saving grace here....

cannot find so many things as is the case with moving....my thoughts on that.,..whatever...am unpacking minimal survival needs...as will be doing this again in about 12 months when new home built...

speaking of which builder is extremely busy...

have been thinking about my forum family and knowing that I have that safety net in the background is huge..

so thank you each and everyone of you for being a part of that...

I have probably missed some important members during my time on here....thinking no less of you if your names are not in the forefront of my mind...moreso...mind fog which many of us can relate to ...

you are all doing so well even though you might not think so..

more noticeable when having time away and coming back...realising yet again how much we deal with...the whole world goes on around us thinking that life is hard and many do not have a clue...

not diminishing those who go through atrocities of war or similar ...

so take care all

way past my bed time....

Re: Living with Ourselves

Thank you for checking in @Sophia1 It is always good to hear from you. It seems that you have been extremely busy with the move and yes I know how draining that can be. I was lucky enough when I moved into my house that I only had to mve around the corner but it still was taxing having to pack and unpack everything to do so.

I am doing ok - a lot happening or beginning to hsppen in regrds to work for me - looks like I will begin that prt of my journey again next term. I don;t know how it is going to go yet but it is something that I want/need to do so will have to see how it goes.

I hope you are managing physically with your pain and not over exerting yourself Hon. I'm sure it is frustrating you with having to limit what you can achieve in the home becuse of your limitations - just do what you can as that is all you can do.

How are the cats settling in?

Re: Living with Ourselves

Thanks so much @Sophia1 for the update, always good to hear from you.

Little time for a proper reply right now, but wanted to let you know I am thinking of you. Remember to make time for some self nurturing as often as possible. With all thats going on for you, its all too easy to lose sight of our own needs. 😀 🌺

Re: Living with Ourselves

Thanks for the tag @Sophia1 yes sad re family members but it may also bring release when things come to the crunch. Sorry for trying to read between the lines. I have had lots of dwelling moves over the years some easy through fog of memory and years and some notso. 12mths is long enough to unpack completely for? Anyway I end up in self created chaos when telling self its not a ‘forever’ place re not un packing/settling. Maybe just get rid of some things before moving. Might help loosen attachment to where you were living?
