First of all I wanted to let you know that I have conversed with all of you at some stage on both sides of the forum..

It was my intention to close two of my threads and change my name in the kindest way for all of you...

I commenced this process on the 12th March and today is the first day that I have access to actually post or respond to anyone....I was in the last couple of days able to register a new name and like some posts...

I am so sorry that my profile ended so abruptly that was definitely not my intention....

In fact if I had done it my way.. instead of thinking would be better to be guided through the process....I would have just written on one of my threads my reason for closing my account tagging you all in....then requested account to be closed and username put to bed so to speak

I have chosen to take this path in order to protect my family's sense of safety .. privacy...health..

Please let me reassure you that this has nothing to do with any members on here...

I have tagged each and everyone of you because you have given me support and invited me into a little of your worlds...priceless experiences...I have felt heard and valued on here....Thank you all so much..

Moving forward ...this is who I am now and hope to be able to converse on the forum living in the now not the past...therefore no mention of my previous username necessary...

If you do not know who I am...that is fine also...perhaps all of the above is not relevant for you..

I think I understand about the procedure and extreme trauma ....triggering...

I have been through that when I went to the emergency hospital then back at the doctors...I requested females be present and my husband was there also...

I think that you are extremely brave going through that...

I also want to say that I do not diminish in any way how you felt...those feelings were very real for you...it might not seem like it but you have actually moved forward slightly in dealing with your trauma...

I do hope that you are able to put that day aside now and focus on today every day ...just today each day..

You did make me smile when you told Adge the secret was out...as I could not find where he had written about it...

I will respond about my appointment in a message addressed to everyone ...saving me having to repeat myself....

Good news for me yesterday..

Neurosurgeon explained results of MRI taken day before...

no remaining residue or evidence of new growth of tumour...

I told him that was good as I was not having any more operations...

He has changed my next check up from 6 months to 1 year...then possibly dependent at the time not 3 years but 5 years...

sooooo I have a year reprieve and can focus on continuing to improve my strength..

I have other specialist to see in a couple of weeks re other matter and will find out if need operation or not about that...

something needs to be done to give me a better quality of life...

thank each of you for your showing concern and care....

That is such great news for you @Sophia1 I am really happy for you Hon

Now you can concentrate more on the rehab and building up your strength again - I know that is a long road still but you are doing everything that you need to do.
