My journey

My journey

@Former-Member It's pretty hard when I do eventually open up
I remember what happened when I did prior then too a longgggg time ago. I was attacked!!! I am attacking everyone
Hence my song the other day on a music thread.

I don't expect responses and I don't feel left left out I have made it this far on my own and hid what i have been through repetively at times. It does not matter what I do when I don't talk about it I am doing something wrong when I do talk about it I am doing something wrong again

Re: My journey

not yet @Zoe7 I am at the point where i just want to leave town. I went out all day but kept feeling insecure & i kept remembering.
i came home and had a few and now hate myself for it and feel guilt.

Re: My journey

I don't want to be seen if that makes sense @Zoe7 Going anywhere is extremely hard at the moment. I feel insecure everywhere.

Re: My journey

Don't beat yourself up @Former-Member - sometimes we do what we can to forget stuff Hon. I know it is not ideal but feeling guilt will not change anything. Concentrate now on the night ahead and what you and your daughter can do together - maybe a little more packing.

I do get what you mean about not being seen - it is as if by being out amongst others we are putting ourselves in a position of risk - even though it is not necessarily the case it does feel like that in our own minds.

The insecurities that we have follow us everywhere - and that is a really tough place to be constantly living in @Former-Member - I hear you

Re: My journey

That is really hard to deal with @Former-Member - but there are some things about you that I can see that you should be proud of - you are still looking forward to the move, you place your daughter at the top of your priority list, you continue to care for your daughter, you are working in a job with people that you don't particularly like but you are getting through each day, and you are connecting with me on here ...all of thise things are things that realIy like about you and you should be proud of Hon

Re: My journey

Benzodiazepines are highly addictive but they can help with the type of anxiety you are having. If your GP is wise and able to get you on minimum dosage for the shortest period of time possible they might be able to help you with your current feelings.

I feel punished every day by my own dam mind. I just feel like i am never going to be ok. I have withdrawn from every person.
A hug just makes me withdrawal again. I don't feel anything with one it almost feels numb. I am geniunely not feeling proud of me.
