My journey

My journey

@Former-Member It's pretty hard when I do eventually open up
I remember what happened when I did prior then too a longgggg time ago. I was attacked!!! I am attacking everyone
Hence my song the other day on a music thread.

I don't expect responses and I don't feel left left out I have made it this far on my own and hid what i have been through repetively at times. It does not matter what I do when I don't talk about it I am doing something wrong when I do talk about it I am doing something wrong again

Re: My journey

I hear you about triggers @Former-Member - they seem to be everywhere for me again - so hard to cope with.

I had to stop seeing my psychologist about a year ago because the sessions were making me really unsafe - I couldn't deal with them - so I totally get how sometimes what we need to do is also what causes us so much grief - it is that way for me now with DBT. I have my pdoc appointment afterwards though so that helps me to settle a little.

I have also been through many, many different meds - finally we seem to have the right combinations with less side effects - I am not so sure the doses are working though - I have gone downhill lately.

Re: My journey

I feel like i have relapsed too. I don't trust myself when i am in that state anymore
I am getting triggered lately at work.
One therapist in particular does not help me at times. Instead i find her enjoying me being like it-well that is my assumption.

Re: My journey

I do think you have had a lot going on lately @Former-Member. I know we have talked about it before but the move would be adding so much more stress onto you as well as what is happening at work. You talked about how hard it is to be made feel like you are not in control there and that you are constantly having to clean up after others - that all takes it's toll Hon.

Re: My journey

I am just sick of being ripped apart by others and holding in for so long what i could point out to them. I look around and wonder if i even like any human being now.
It's a nightmare & always leaves me feeling like i will never recover. I feel like my own ptsd has left me as the easiest target in the world to be mistreated & misunderstood
i am not perfect but i am incredibly sick of others murdering my own soul too because of it. It's confusing

Re: My journey

Nah it isn't confusing @Former-Member - that is pretty much how I have felt for more than half my life. This forum has given me a little positivity back in my life but I still have serious trouble trusting anyone. I often feel like a target too and would love to point out a few things to other people - but I too 'hold my tongue' - mainly because I cannot be as nasty as they are - I don't know how those type of people can actually live with themselves. To rise above all that shows great couorage and great strength @Former-Member

Re: My journey

I have been nasty to others @Zoe7 and have hurt people that hurt me.

Re: My journey

I do understand wanting to do that @Former-Member I feel like that sometimes too - I suppose I turn that inward though and it ends up hurting me more.

Re: My journey

Hi. Just had a few crackers to eat as well as coffee. I know i am relapsing from all the voices but can't do anything about it. Now i am feeling guilt for having them and i am getting myself upset & stressed over it

Re: My journey

What can you do to help distract yourself @Former-Member - have you finished packing everything you can?
