My journey

My journey

@Former-Member It's pretty hard when I do eventually open up
I remember what happened when I did prior then too a longgggg time ago. I was attacked!!! I am attacking everyone
Hence my song the other day on a music thread.

I don't expect responses and I don't feel left left out I have made it this far on my own and hid what i have been through repetively at times. It does not matter what I do when I don't talk about it I am doing something wrong when I do talk about it I am doing something wrong again

Re: My journey

@Former-Member Just read a bit of your thread. Sorry you have been so down.

Glad @Zoe7 has been around.

Any job becomes a bit "same old" after long enough.

We are becoming one very well educated society. We ought to be able to get it right, hey?

Being a workaholic .. lol, I oscillate been that and the other ... lol

Take Care Ladies.

Re: My journey

Do you think you are coming down with something or is it the stress of what you have been feeling for a while @Former-Member ?

Re: My journey

Your attitude about getting going is great. @Former-Member but think it forward gradually. PLan for a general direction and work with each day, as it comes.

Can you tell your support.

Try and ease up on the self pressure. I bet you were classy and it becomes important to find a style to get your through the marathon of life.

I remember the beauty ladies in the College when I was studying counselling. Sometimes they were the better counsellors...lol

Re: My journey

I can relate to having difficulty opening up. Whenever we open ourselves up to others we make ourselves vulnerable to others. I have been attacked as well when I open up about my problems and it makes me somewhat worried about opening up. However, sometimes we need to take a chance. I have found that the people in this community are in general a good lot and I am slowly opening up here. I Hope that you can find that ability as well if it makes you happen.

Re: My journey

I feel like everything is coming to it's head with stress. I keep crying uncontrollably and i hardly cry. It is more so a build up of everything until it reaches & then i explode. I do feel like it is taking it's toll

It's not just that. It's more so i know what i was abused with-that makes me remember -the bullying haunts me to this day-that adds to putting pressure on myself.
The person i turned into
Believing everything anyone said
The mental scarring.
The name calling. The word dropping.
Other talking about me because i was hiding my ptsd, depression, and eating disorder....

Pretending i was all fine nothing bothered me... Wrong....

Re: My journey

That is a lot to be keeping inside @Former-Member - it is no wonder you are seeing external signs through your anger and crying lately... sometimes we just cannot hold so much inside ourselves Hon

I know you are really looking forward to the move but that would be also taking a toll on you both emotionally and physically - moving is stressful under any circumstances but throw in a MI as well and it can make it harder still.

You are doing what you need to do at the moment to get through this - that is all you can do - and we are sitting right here with you

Re: My journey

I have a hard time standing up for myself now and if it i do it comes out in the worst ways -where i hurt the people that hurt me.

I feel that i am also so used to conflict
i half expect to be attacked prior to being attacked. When i am triggered i attack & everything just gets worse.

I don't know what happened on saturday at work it felt like a constant switch.
I got really insecure when i was reactive
to my own things in my mind.

I have scripts here but i don't want to take them in fear of becoming addicted and always relying on them.

Re: My journey

Can you talk to your GP about the scripts @Former-Member - some things we are prescribed are less addictive than others. I still have my meds given to me weekly - helps to keep a little control over what I am taking but keep me safe also. Maybe you could organise a similar situation with your chemist and gp.

Re: My journey

I took one type a while ago & ended up in hospital. I am reluctant with them.
I want to go back to my physcologist but it is so triggering i am sick of triggers already.
