Re: catching up

I know my angel, you do so much, i really don't know how you manage, Karen only 2 more days, then you can ease up for a while, i am counting down with you Karen, i hope when the school hollidays start you can get a break. try to limit your days to 1 appointment a day in the new year. even if you ned to put some appointments off to make it happen, you will have another breakdown if you keep pushing like this.

You are too precious to me to see that happen, just try tonight to take deep breaths, open a window to get some fresh air, and put one some music or TV to distract.

Or maybe chat to me :), please Karen if you are tired go to sleep, i know you are exhausted, i would not want you to stay up just to chat to me. i will be awake for quite a while so if you wake up and want to chat, i am awake i will respond.

Oh good the little elf is making the rounds of the house, i am sure the girls will be thrilled tomorrow.

Re: catching up

Jacques you are truly wonderful.

I suppose thats what the psychiatrist is trying to tell me. That I give the girls all the energy I have which leaves me depleted and unable to manage my own symptoms.

Re: catching up

Oh My angel, you are too kind 🙂

Yes, i worry that if you break down you will be no help to the girls, if you are well, you can give them more love and attention. you will feel better, and so will the girls. I know you try so hard because you feel you have let the girls down, but as i see it you have done the opposite, by getting help for yourself you are being a better mum for them.

I know things are hard, and i know you only want the best for your girls, but Karen, you are doing a wonderful job with them, they are smart, kind & caring girls, all thanks to you, you go to all the events they have on, i so wish my parents would have had the time to do that with me. you are a great mum Karen, i know you don't see it, but i do. you just need to step back and take a look.

Karen, it is not about stopping all apointments, or neglecting the girls, it is about doing what you can within your own capabilities, i do the same, i somethimes wish i could do more, but i am not capable without serious harm to my mental health.

Re: catching up

Hi My angel,

Thinking of you today, please remember slow everything down, you don't need to do everything now, prioritiise.

I have to go to town today, mum needs to pick up her new glasses, so it looks like i will struggle too, i will check in when i can, we will walk through this together Karen, you are never alone, we will lean on each other.

Be safe my angel, big hugs

Jacques
