Re: catching up

too many appointments in one day. Im shaking terribly, my muscles are twitching.

I feel so bad that the girls see me like this I can't hide it.

Re: catching up

ANything i can do to help Karen :D, i know it is not much, but sometimes it is good to distract, like you did for me last night.

I am so glad the builders are gone, did they do a good job? Yes i thought you where over doing it, i said last night, you are pushing yourself too hard. yes, my muscles have bee ntwitching all day too, it is horrible, i don't know how to stop it, if you find a way, please tell me.

Karen, please go out side and take some deep breaths, or maybe take the girls for a walk around the block, some different sight other than your room.

I am sure the girls are worried about you, Karen, it is time to be gentle with yourself, worrying about what the girls see will only make the symptoms worse, allow the feeling to be, float down the river, i will stand on the river bank with you my friend, we will watch the feeling float away together 🙂

Karen, have you decided what the elf will take tonight? i was thinking having him sticking out of the girls school bags?

Re: catching up

I like it too Karen, i am going to look at it often, we need tranquil things in our lives Karen, something beautiful, something serene.

Oh the Elf, ummmmm, how about on a table in the house, a coffee table or a dresser or something?

I know Karen, i could not calm down last night either, maybe use some essential oils, listen to some music, i know things are hard, but it will pass, it always does, do you have a favourite TV show or movie to watch, something to distract?

How about some Mandela?

Karen, as someone told me "That is what friends do!!!!", you are my best friend, i only want you to be safe, and not go through this, anything to help Karen, just let me know and i will do anything? Do you have any meditation music?

Re: catching up

I have to go to the school awards night tomorrow.
It means a stadium full of students and parents. My worst nightmare. My youngest is getting a award for a story she wrote. I don't know how to manage. The anxiety is awful

ive still got swimming tomorrow.

The builder's have left a mess washed their concrete down the drive and emptied concrete all in the grass. Timber left everywhere its all to overwhelming.

Re: catching up

Ok Karen,

One thing at a time, forget the house at the moment, you can get to that anytime, i know it is a mess, just let it be, i know how distressing it is, so forget that for the moment.

Swimming, well, can you just go to that for 1 hour instead of 2?

The School awards, ok, can you get a seat at the back of the room, near a door, so if you feel overwhelmed you can just go outside for a quick breather? please take some ear plugs to it tomorrow night, i know it sounds silly, but you will stuill hear what is going on, it will just block out the loud noises.

Ok Karen, can you think of anything else to cope with the awards?

Karen i know it is going to be hard to forget the house for the moment, but you really need to prioritise, the house will be their, the concrete will have already set, the timber will be their too. you need to just put that to one side for the moment, maybe till after Christmas, focus on the event tomorrow and how you will make it through.

I am here for you Karen. I will support you.

Re: catching up

Karen the mess thing with the house is normal, when the electrician rewired my house he left all the old wiring all over the yard, front, back and sides, you are not the only one Karen.
