It makes perfect sense @hiddenite
I don't think you were being naive at all. I think reduction of symptoms is possible (as @Jacques said) but I think you just have to be patient 🙂

No Karen, they will never go away, i have had them all my life, they have controlled me and i have controlled them over the years, it is down to manageing the symptoms and thoughts, i still sweat, shake, upset stomach and not be able to look up, but i am doing more things the more i go out, i am not normal, but i am not as reliant on mum now.
Karen, i know you can do it too, it takes hard work and you need to allow yourself to lose control, as sometimes the symptoms will over run you, but over time you will gain some control.
Sorry Karen, yes it makes sense, i read it wrong, yes it is a good guide to help us live our lives.
Karen, you can do this, i have belief in you, you are a strong and coragous woman, you have endured so much, you can defeat this Karen, i know it 🙂
Hugs my angel, i am so proud of you for seeing more of the light 🙂 remember i am at the end of the tunnel, just reach out to me 🙂

Yes, my angel, you are so right, senses and breathing, i use the breathing meditation a lot, maybe too much sometimes 😄 but it does help me release the anxiety and allow my muscles to relax.
Oh Karen, that is so beautiful, their is nothing like a garden, i love smelling flowers and herbs, but i get hayfeaver bad and sneeze for ours after 😄 it is worth it though 🙂
Do you think they will let you go out their for a few minutes to get some fresh air?

I understand but does the staff memeber need to be near you? Karen, if you can try to get control of your anxiety you will be allowed out on your own right? maybe give it a few days.
I know how it is Karen, i need so much quiet time here, lucky for me i have a big yard. Karen, can you try to get to a happy place in your mind until you are allowed to go outside?

I know it is really hard Karen, sometimes i find it hard even having mum in the room, i just try to block out anything out side myself, focus on your breathing, find a spot in your room to stair, deep breaths, and allow your mind to travel Karen, let it go where it wants. that is how i have coped for 15 years, this is what i do every day.
If you like we can describe a nice place. like we have done in the past? i can help you imagine Karen, would you like that 🙂 ?
