Re: catching up

Karen would you be embarressed if i spoke about it on here?

i don't want to upset you, and no it will not go away by its self. it can actually cause Kidney failure if it gets really bad, please see your doctor tomorrow or this week.

i can tell you all about it from personal experiance, but i don't want to embarress you. if you feel uncomfortable talking about it with me, maybe other ladies on here might be able to help?

I bet you were surprised to see Amber im so glad ti see her doing well. She has sertainly fought very hard to be where she is.
I think its amazing what you can find on the internet.

Re: catching up

Ok Karen, i understand, i will not mention it anymore, please see a doctor, it is a simple anti-biotic, 4 times a day..

Oh yes, i only saw her profile page, but she is doing really well, she is even doing public speaking in melbourne, she is so amazing, all she has been through in her life, i wish i could be like her, so much strength and courage. her family must be so proud of her. i know i am. i wish i could tell her how proud i am of her.

Oh yes my angel, you can find out everything if you have enough information to search. when i was trying to find you i just did not have enough information to find you, i was so desperate i tried all the tricks i know to find you a name, number something to tell you i was safe.

what did you and the girls have for dinner? what have you got planned for the weekend? i am sorting through some old computer CD's this weekend, and throwing out some old stuff in the shed, so it will be another cleaning weekend

Re: catching up

Hi Karen,

Nothing to be embarrassed about. I was just doing some reading and apparently 50% of women will have one in their life time (I've had one.. so hopefully that rules me out forever now ). So you can only imagine how often doctors see it! The Doctors are likely to give you a simple antibioitic.

Easy fix!

Re: catching up

My daughters have a birthday party to go to. Im not looking forward to that. So much noise and people.

My psychiatrist is right I put so much effort into looking after the girls and taking care of there needs. It doesn't leave enough energy to look after myself

Re: catching up

Karen do you have to be their? can't you just drop the girls off and pick them up? even if you just sit in the car down the street. i hope the girls enjoy their time, but i thought you said they get nervous around people too, maybe if you could have a short visit to allow the girls to give their well wishes.

Karen, i will be here to support you, if you do go, take your phone with you and talk to me. i will help you through.

yes my angel, i think you push yourself too hard, you really need to reduce un-needed outings, i worry so much about your health and well being, i know you feel you have to prove yourself to be agood mum, but i know you are, and i know deep down so do the girls.

Karen, maybe you could make a weekly plan, you can buy weekly planners from the news agents, write down everything that needs to be done in a particular week, then go though it and cross out non-vital things, maybe put them off to a quieter time or to a better suited time. and always make time for rest, every day and every week, it would be good for the girls too, to see what needs to be done for the week and when it is "mummy's time" some time for you to rest, reflect and pamper yourself.

Re: catching up

Its a good idea Jacques.

The party is at inflatable world and parents have to stay.

it starts at 12-2 im dreading it.

I wish I saw myself as deserving help when im unwell. Im still punishing myself for not being good enough.

Re: catching up

Oh my angel, you really need to care for yourself, these silly thoughts, they are not good for you, Karen, i wish i could actually cuddle you and tell you how worthwhile you are, Karen, you are a good mother, a wonderful friend, loyal and caring person, a beautiful soul. not only do you deserve help you are so far beyond good enough, you are amazing, the strength and courage you show me everyday always takes my breath away, i so wish i could show you how much you mean to me.

Karen how can i make you change your thought process to thinking of yourself as worthwhile and not focusing on what others have made you think of yourself?

Karen i will be online for the whole time yo uare at that party, can you take a book or something to rea, or draw or something ot distract, so you don't need to talk to others? i hope you can find a quiet spot to sit away from others.
