Hi both,
Wow Karen - looks like you have been doing so much lately. I learnt alot just reading Jacques instructions about ebay, paypal etc!
I just wanted to flag @Jacques , I am concerned about you watching this, particularly if you already feel like you're going to be triggered, which are concerns yourself and Karen have already raised.
I'm hoping the TV show is educational and shows you some examples of people getting better - rather than people getting more unwell.
I want to remind you, every person's "journey" is different. Even though an illness has the same label, doesn't mean it's the same. There are so many variables to everyone's experiences, that it's impossible to compare.
I had to have a giggle when I saw the show on after the OCD special, which is 'One born every mintue' where each episode they follow pregnant couples, from the start of their pregnancy and at the end you see the birth. I giggle because I have to stop myself watching these, otherwise I will never have children. Just like the advice I am giving you, I need to tell myself... "just because someone is pregnant, doesn't mean my experience would be the same." ![]()
Please remember who to turn to if you're feeling distressed as a result of watching your show. The Forums are not a crisis service, so the best place to turn to is:
Lifeline: 13 11 14 or online crisis service
Suicide call back: 1300 659 467 or their online counselling
Please take care of yourself.

mum is doing ok, it has really knocked her confidence, she is so scared of what to eat, because she is not sure what will trigger it, we have her diabetes under control and her doctor is happy with her latest tests.
She called the hospital this morning about getting the tests, but they have not called back yet, i so hope it does not come back with more problems, i think it is contributing to my lack of sleep, i am scared of losing her and scared of what i will have to do if she dies.
my ankle has come good, it was a pinched nerve, i get it sometimes, something catches in the side of my ankle and it hurts a lot, i have been hobbling around for the past 3 days.
how is your knee going and how is your eye sight, i have been worrying about your sight for the past little while. i so wish you would go to the optometrist.

Hi @Billamba,
how are you, i have never watched one born every minute, i have seen some ad's on TV, i don't think any woman should watch it.
I will try to be careful @Billamba, thank you so much for your concern, it is so nice to know people care.
i am glad you like the connection Karen and i have, we have known each other a long time, well before this forum.
take care, be kind to yourself.
Jacques
