Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

@Sans911ohhh two more sleeps and you get your new kitty!! Chillin sounds good this afternoon. I am glad you still have that connection with books. It is great if you can get absorbed in it that it takes your mind of other things.

Haha I can imagine you sitting at the back of the class reading. Sounds like somthing my Miss would do too. She always seems to have her head buried in a book..

Re: My special place

@Snowie - I know I'm super excited. But already some people have expressed doubts & concerns. I haven't told my foster sister yet, as I know she won't be happy. I get that quite frequently from my friends & family, and it's super frustrating. It's like I'm constantly having to justify my actions.

Re: reading-as much as I love reading, I'm not a fan of English. I did not enjoy it in school. I actually used to help out in the library at my high school during lunchtime and other times. I just found a card in sorting my stuff the other day from the library staff who put on a morning tea for me for my contribution. That's a nice memory.

Re: My special place

@Sans911ahhh bugger other people. If it makes you happy than I say go for it. You already have a cat, you know what you have to do to look after it. Might give you another good distraction, something positive, something the depends on you.

That is nice that you found that card. Something to treasure, those memories are special.

Re: My special place

Hi @Snowie, hi @outlander,
I’ve been out fishing, caught lots of flathead. We’ll cook them up tomorrow for whoever is around. Lovely day here today.

Re: My special place

I like it too @Snowie. We bought a boat a few years ago but then my partner had a really bad accident so he has only recently been able to get back in the boat. Good to see him happy😊
I go if the conditions are good. Get a bit icky if the swell is up.
